Excellent product

This is obviously good quality and built to last but I found it pretty useless and hard work at grinding some things, such as peppercorns. It was exceptionally good at grinding cardamom pods but not much else. I'm not a weak man but it took quite a lot of strength to grind some spices. It also should never be wet because it can rust but some spices (peppercorns) become moist after grinding, so that's an issue.

It was a really cool idea, but without ever washing it with water (only dry cleaning with a cloth) it got rusty and had to return!

So so

I tried to grind whole cloves with this mill and it did not work. I wish it had a label indicating it's unsuitable for cloves.What is the point of buying an expensive spice grinder if you still need to use some other device such as an old fashioned mortar and pestle to do some jobs? I have not used it for anything since but it was not a good start.
