Not for DX work
Will work well in strong signal areas.Low profile so can go under hight restrictors.There is a need to get it as high as possible, normal operation considerations.Otherwise as a standby antenna it’s ok.

Not to good as dose not have any range for a UK cb mag mount dose not work over 38mph

I cannot recommend this Mag Mount.
Poorly sod joint at base of mount coax twisted when uncurling cable and pierced base material, could not recommend to anyone did complain and sent pictures, in the end I purchased another SO239 mag mount an used the antenna. But the mag mount is best described as of poor quality.

It just doesn't work. VHF radio gets further distance without this plugged in.
