Cabinet accessories - Strap handle

This is a very nice strap handle, metal reinforced and just right for the purpose for which I bought it (to replace the poor quality broken handle on a small bass guitar amp). However buying it was an act of faith and guesswork, as the seller gives just a cursory description and no size and I was hoping to use the existing screw holes on the amp cabinet. I was persuaded to take a punt because it was so much cheaper than the alternatives on offer - even though they were better described.Anyway, in order to help subsequent potential buyers decide, I can reveal that it fits screws 8 1/4 inches apart (that's 21cm for the youngsters!) and would be ok plus or minus about half an inch.Note to supplier: First rule of on-line selling, give the best description you can. "Strap handle with black fittings." helps nobody and is probably diverting potential sales to your rivals who do a better job...

Quality item, arrived promptly. A pity a couple of black countersunk bolts not included in the pack, as annoying to have to source such items, especially as only 2 needed.
