Great little machine from Nilfisk!
I just bought this as a replacement for a 120 bar Nilfisk washer which had just started leaking from the pump after 7 years of use. I used the opportunity to get a slightly more powerful model although I never had a performance issue with the old one which was used to clean the driveway but also occasional fence cleaning, car cleaning, brickwork and other odd jobs. Why Nilfisk? Well, for starters, you get a 2 year warranty on the non-professional models, the pumps are all-metal and in my experience they are a reliable product. I should say that up until March of this year when I retired I sold pressure washers amongst other things, including a range of domestic and professional Nilfisk and Karcher washers. Our weapon of choice was always a Nilfisk.Anyway, just to prove the old adage *if it aint broke why fix it*, not much has changed in 7 years. The gun, lance, two nozzles and detergent bottle are exactly the same as my old ones. Open the box and you get the aforementioned parts plus the main unit, a standard hozelok type connector, a tool for cleaning the nozzles, the hose and hose reel, a handle and pivot for the hose reel, and a handle for the main unit and a couple of brackets to wind your mains lead around. The booklet that comes with it is the multilingual type with a series of pictures showing you how to assemble it. If you hate those booklets as I do and you can't work it out for yourself there is a dvd included which you can pop into your player or pc and this shows you assembly and which accessories are available for it. That being said, assembly takes just a few minutes, no screws, easy peasy! The handle clips into place, the reel is positioned within the handle, pivot clips in one end, the handle clips in the other end. The mains lead brackets clip on the side, the hose connector screws on the front and the pressure hose screws on the back. The other end of the pressure hose clips into the gun, the lance pushes into the gun and rotates 90 deg to lock and finally, the nozzle clips into the end of the lance. Probably took longer to write it than assemble it. The powerspeed nozzle provides a pulsating spray for those hard-to-shift marks on paving whereas the tornado nozzle provides an adjustable fan type spray for most jobs. So, all you need to do now is connect your hose, switch on the mains switch on the front, squeeze the trigger and get cleaning. Release trigger, pump stops. To use detergent, car shampoo, brick cleaner or whatever, this goes in the supplied bottle which clips on the lance instead of the nozzle and is applied at low pressure. The hose reel, which some have disliked is purely a storage device. Yes, it is bit fiddly but ultimately it just means you can store the unit in the smallest possible footprint. On my last unit there were always large coils of pressure hose hanging off the handle which took up more space. Your choice! If you don't like it, don't use it! The unit is designed with storage locations inbuilt so you can store the gun, lance, nozzles and detergent bottle onboard. I don't know if the pump design has changed but this unit certainly is quieter than the old one as well as being more powerful.I'm hoping for a good few years use from this one based on previous experience and feel confident in recommending it to would-be purchasers, I don't think you'll be disappointed, Finally, Amazon still advertise this as coming with an 1800W motor. It doesn't. It's 1700W but don't let that put you off. This is a compact but powerful washer.

Good but heavy
Having had 2 Karchers both of which went kaput I thought I'd try an alternative manufacturer. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase. My only reservation is the fact it's really heavy. Whilst this does give it a well put together feel it makes it just a little unwieldy. The unit has wheels so its weight isn't a problem where the surface is solid. However, I use this mainly to wash my car and due to having a gravel frontage to my property manoeuvrability is somewhat compromised as the wheels don't work so well on this type of surface. I accept that this is my own fault so note that my review is based on my own personal experience of how the product works for me.

Produces really outstanding results
I did my research before buying this and went for the middle of the range Pressure washer. I am really delighted with it and it has produced exceptional results on my patio, deck, block paving drive and concrete path....all not touched for about 10-15 years. I am a 58 year old woman and I would urge any other lady out there wondering if they could cope with this to go ahead. The worst thing for me was that there is no lock 'on' switch so it make my hand ache a bit holding the trigger on when doing a large drive. Apparently it is not allowed to have a locked 'on' switch. But the power and the results are really impressive. I wish I had invested in one years ago and am now able to keep on top of the maintenance of the outside areas so much better now. It is so powerful. Did not bother with patio cleaner and just used lance and power head to do it all.

Only used it a few times but seems very good. It seems well made and robust
Only used it a few times but seems very good. It seems well made and robust. As already mentioned it is very heavy and again as mentioned handle does seem to be the weak link it does seem a little weak compared with the rest of the washer but had no problems yet and only time will tell. Previously used Karcher and both used very little and packed up prematurely. Would not buy Karcher again as problems I had with motor burn out and leaking with oil all over the place are widespread.Up to now very pleased.

Good machine
Bought as a replacement for a Kew as the Nilfisk uses the same adapters. It works well but I found that the pressure hose is wound too tightly and in use tends to coil up making easy use of the tools difficult. I have taken the pressure hose off of the integral drum and just looped it over the machine handle, not an issue really. The tool set is standard for this type of machine at this price point. I already had other tools so I've a number of spares.

Jusr discovered we have pink slabs!
This is the 3rd pressure washer I have bought - all the same brand - The first stopped working after 3 years, the second lent to my daughter never came back so as we have moved into a house with a lot of paving I splashed out and paid over double for this model. All my extra bits fit and I like the fact that you have somewhere to store all the bits and a cable tidy. The hose reel thing isnt the best but I did manage to get it rewound even with arthritic hands and it keeps us from tripping up the hose when its stored in the garage.Pros: Tidy to store. Quieter than last washer.Cons; Quiet heavy to lift if you have steps. Hose a bit difficult to wind onto drum. Side patio has a pattern that includes pink slabs!

Great value for money!
Excellent value for money and a great pressure washer! I've broken a few Karcher washers over the years and decided to give this a try, its well built and the hose reel is a great idea as is the snap together attachments. This has had quiet a hard life over the past few months washing out my kennels and yard, and it hasn't let me done at all. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I manged to kink the hose when winding it back on to the reel, but in fairness that was my fault.
