This was a last minute impulse purchase for me as I approached my due date. I could not of got through labour without this amazing gadget. I had never used a tens machine before and it arrived in good time and had easy instructions. I managed most of my labour at home using only this machine. Did not want to buy one myself so the hire worked perfectly for me. Well worth the money.

I hired this TENs machine and needed it the following day due to another TENs machine I had been promised not available. The seller sent the TENs straight away. It was well packaged, had spare batteries included and easy to follow instructions. It was neat and compact and fitted in the hospital bag without taking up much room.It was soooo useful during active labour. I ended up being induced and on the oxytocin drip. I what wanted as natural a birth as possible so decided to see how long I could go just using the TENs for pain relief. I found it a really good distraction and I liked the fact that there was a boost button, to help me focus more on the tingling sensation rather than the contractions.I also liked the fact that the Elle TENs had levels and it went up to 15 I think.This meant that I didn’t crank it up too soon and it was good to know I could always increase the settings if needed.I found the TENs so effective I didn’t need any pain relief and I delivered my baby 6 hours after active labour had started.I liked the fact that I had enough time to send the unit back post birth without being rushed and that a return envelope was included. Hiring the Elle TENs was one of the best decisions I made re my pregnancy and labour and for me was really worthwhile. It distracted me/allowed me to focus sufficiently that I gave birth naturally and drug free, for which I am incredibly grateful for.

This was a great value service if you’re after a maternity TENS machineEasy to use machine and clear instructions.When it comes to gold birth though don’t expect this to cure the pain!

Would 100 per cent recommending renting the TENS machine. It arrived clean and well packaged. I used the machine throughout my 12 hours of contractions and managed to avoid the use of any epidural. It also allowed me to delay the use of other painkillers until I reached active labour. I recommend all pregnant women to give a TENS machine a try!

If you have to get pregnant, and i'm not saying you should, because i'm three kids in and its not a barrel of laughs I can tell you. Nappies as far as the eye can see, your ears wont know what the sound of quiet is ever again and giving birth is really fecking painful.BUT if you are going to give birth we used other machines on the first two and this by far worked the best in terms of operation and held on as long as possible before the pains of labor and childbirth needed drugs and ultimately for the tiny human to come kicking and screaming into this world.The product is well recommended, fatherhood not so much.

I decided to hire the Elle tens machine after looking and learning about that particular machine in my NCT class.Now having been through labour, for me, it was absolutely the right decision.The Elle tens machine was incredibly easy to use (which was what was needed when the contractions were strong, making it hard to concentrate) and played a major part in my labour.The actual hiring and delivery of the machine was also super easy and quick.Would definitely recommend and use again if needed.

Really great service, item arrived quickly in great condition. This was my 2nd baby, I didn’t use a tens machine first time round but was recommended this time and I thought why not. I used the tens machine once Contractions started and it really did make a difference to pain levels and took the edge off and I found the boost button amazing during contractions. I delivered my baby at home using only the tens and then later also gas and air

It did help ease off pain at early and mid stage of labour! Remember to turn it up all the way if you feel it’s not helping ( my Midwife reminded me). One tip is to familiarise yourself or your partner how to operate before going into labour. Reading instructions manual is the last thing you wanna do when u r contracting every 5-10mins!
