Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare (PS3)

I'm 41 and regularly find myself acting like a big kid and taunting players I've just killed. It became clear after playing for a while that a lot of the others playing were in the 5-12 years-old age range, but it didn't stop me grinning madly when I'd just mullered another plant with my football gun or blown a zombie 500 feet in the air with a drone strike. It's a bit repetitive but I found myself engrossed in the almost non-ending mission of getting to maximum rank (313) and filling the stickerbook, which in the end took the best part of 3 months and 250 hours. Great game, even for the big kids!

Excellent delivery and service!Game is a blast and my 8yo absolutely loves it. Only downside is you can only play it online together, so you need two co soles as you can’t play together as a two player. However, it’s a nice game with nothing unsavoury for any young child to see so we’re happy he plays it on the server but without a headset or keyboard. Great game lots fun and such a nice coMcPetrie too.

Great game, my 5 year old loves playing and has got into it really easily, despite not yet being able to read the instructions on screen. The game is bright and colourful, his younger brother watches him play and is thoroughly entertained. It's a shame that for the PS3 there is no offline co-op option, but he safely plays online (he has no microphone or headset) knowing that other people are playing alongside him and assisting defeat the zombies! Definitely recommended for a younger audience as an alternative to the countless Lego games we have.

I had not realised that the only way for the game to be played by more than one person is online. We don't allow our children to do this so it does limit the game. Excellent graphics and the game is a lot of fun. It is quite therapeutic killing the zombies.

Bought this for my sons and they love it. they would not let me give it any less than 5 stars. Though I did want to take one star off for the one thing that does really annoy me about this game is, and many people have asked this question, the game is one player. Yes you can play multiplayer on the internet over the internet, however you cannot play it two player sitting in the same room off the same console. However I guess it does teach them to wait their turn. Like I said they loves whether they play as plants or zombies. Their are different game modes as well they could play, and customizable characters.

FALSE ADVERTISING!!! this is NOT pegi 7! Cannot play it at all off line. Cannot play under 13yrs legally! An adult needs to sign your consumer rights away with EA before you can even start the game. Baring in mind a lot of gaming shops will not let you take your games back after purchasing and refund all your money back, once that seal is broken and that disc goes into your game station. Your hand is persuaded/ pushed or forced in to accepting what ever terms and conditions that company chooses to give you in service.In purchasing this disc, you are not purchasing the game! This disc holds nothing but terms and conditions. These terms and conditions read (as I understand them) that you have no rights whatsoever with this game, meaning; you don't buy the game! (it's not like sims where you still have the game and can play or buy expansions go back to the beginning and start again etc.) As this game is a fully online game ea can change and charge for the game in any way shape or form as they see fit. You have a choice to pay/play or not. BE VERY AWARE OF YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND READ ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE ACCEPTING!After you click to accept their terms and conditions (if you don't accept you don't get to play on this game!) EA then want all of your information. Possibly some way of acquiring payment ( I didn't, I confess get to this point as I didn't accept the terms and conditions). But I did research! You need to research to. Is your information really safe with these companies? Son played this at a friend's house at didn't stop taking about it. Wasn't sure myself but have to admit it's quite addictive and not as silly as it sounds, pretty harmless shoot um up game.

This game brings my sons (8 and 10) to despair. The graphics are great and everything is good OTHER THAN this blasted internet connection which you need all of the time - otherwise no game / no fun. Any glitch, and the Sony PSN has lots of it, shuts the game down.Why oh why did EA have to insist on the permanent internet access? I would have given this game 5 stars, but the internet thing is such an incredible problem that I feel 2 stars are actually very generous. I have only given them because there is a small warning on the front cover.Since we have it, the kids come pestering every 15 minutes.Wish I'd never bought it, but then they would pester every 10 minutes, not understanding that this is only for the masochistic.Such adult concepts still elude them.I'm not too sure about the Xbox / PC versions either.EA has shown with other games that they can do a great job without internet.What they have done here is called Verschlimmbesserung in German.You could translate that to worseprovement.Or imworsening.
