Fun and a good likeness, but not poseable
This Felonious Gru figurine by Bendyfigs is fun and looks just like Gru! We especially love that his freeze ray is separate and can be placed into his hand or played with independently. On our figure, his scarf was not glued properly onto his body, and I will have to repair that myself, which doesn't scream high quality in my opinion. He also isn't at all "bendy," or poseable, but stays in one position and cannot be moved whatsoever. My family thinks this figurine is great, but there are these few small caveats that make it feel less than quality. Four stars.

A Gru For The Fan In Your Life
In our house Gru comes in just behind the Minions in terms of our fandom. Minions jump out from unexpected places with us, but we only have one micro Gru. Until now. This is a collector’s vinyl model and a licensed product. The production value appears to be good – color, production quality, etc – and the accessories it comes with are very detailed. The production quality compares to the 1990s vinyl model toys, though I don’t think I would call this one bendy. It feels more like the fixed position vinyl characters. As to collectability I cannot speculate as I don’t know what the production numbers were. But I may get one and leave it in the package just to find out. Good for older fans, wouldn’t get this for children under 6. Now our Gru count is 2.

A Great Figure, Not Bendy
This toy is heavier than I expected it to be. It comes with a stand, which allows Gru to stand up because he can't really stand on his own without the stand. I'm not sure why buy there are lots of little holes all over the back of the figure. Gru is definitely not bendable/posable which was disappointing to my kids. It took a lot of effort for me to bend the arm that holds the freeze ray and then it just slowly went back to the position it was in before I attempted to bend it. My kids really like the Gru figure just because we have tons of Minion toys but none of Gru himself but they were a little disappointed he couldn't really do anything. If you plan on displaying him, though, he'd be great.
