Robust, powerful slightly heavy hair dryer
I'd been looking for a reasonably priced hair dryer as soon as my now previous one started to make funny noises. I'm rather reluctant to pay a lot for a hair dryer as I fail to see how some of the top brands justify their price. I saw this one for £15.99 and free delivery and decided to give it a go. I was a little concerned by previous reviewers who said that it stopped working after a short while but was reassured by the seller who confirmed that a 13amp fuse had now been inserted. I've waited a few weeks before I posted this review to make sure it was accurate. I have quite long hair which I blow dry after washing about 3-4 times a week. I have used it on the highest heat setting for a few weeks now with no ominous sounds or smells. I am very pleased with it - it arrived on time, well packaged and contained a 13amp fuse. The nozzle, which is detachable really gives you direction when blow drying so you can achieve a smooth finish. It is heavier than I am used to - I weighed it as 670g and my heart did sink a little when I took it out of the box but for the price, how powerful it is and how smooth and quickly it dries your hair, you stop to notice the weight issue. My one quibble (apart from the weight) is the cool heat button which is directly where you would have your thumb when holding the dryer. This means that the heat is sometimes changing to cool accidentally as you nudge it. powerful and hot
Really impressed over all. It has a bit of a funny plasticky smell initially but I am sure that will burn off with more frequent use. It's really powerful and gets to a good high heat, I like the cold blast feature which allows me to set my style. I have extremely curly hair so when I straighten it, I like the blow dry to last for a while, and i'm pleased to say this drier holds my style for 3-4 days before needing to wash it. A good product for the price

It took a while to arrive, but it works great, its very powerful, gets your hair dry really quickly. Made me smile when it did arrive though, as it came from China (please don't be put off by that) the invoice was all written in chinese. But the actual product is well worth the money and the wait.

Small on price.........Big on performance.
Bought this hairdryer for my wife as a replacement for a similar Philips Treseme hairdryer which she was unable to use due to the lead breaking. The new MHD hairdryer is an excellent replacement and performs very well and efficiently. All in all awell worth while purchase.

Fantastic product, I read the reviews and this was the hairdryer for me. My hair is quiet long, I prefer to shower in the morning so I needed a hairdryer that didn’t take to long and leave my hair with volume. I’m very happy with this product

good replacement dryer
I bought this to replace my previous budget priced hairdryer. Very impressed at the quality of this dryer. It does a better job than some dryers I have had that have cost twice as much.
