Good purchase
The rubber string holding the hat is indeed a bit tight around your chin, but overall I'm pleased with the hat as it looks good and of nice quality.

Liked the top hat but not the elastic band
Loved this top hat! The glitter is subtle but still definitely there and the shape is great however, I would have preferred a hairband fastening. The elastic band is quite slim so it cut into my chin uncomfortably when I put it round the front. When I put the band around the back instead, it didn't quite keep the hat in place. Not a big deal though if you only need the hat for photos!

Absolutely brilliant, bought for my daughter to wear at a wedding and did not disappoint, it looked brilliant and complemented her outfit perfectly. She also had a lot of positive comments on how it looked, I would definitely recommend…very happy.

Bought for Christmas party, turned out to be a great buy
Bought this as a "prop" for a work black-tie Christmas party and this turned out to be a great buy. I was a little worried when I read the reviews about the hat being held on with an elastic band that you have to wear under your chin thinking it would be unsightly and uncomfortable. You could wear it under your chin if you wanted, and it wouldn't really show or be uncomfortable - but I found it just as easy to wear with the band tucked under my hair at the back of my neck and the elastic looped a little over my ears to secure it. If you bring your hair in front you can't see the black bands at all (and I have blonde hair). Didn't feel insecure at all and stayed put all night. The feather was very slightly curled from the journey, but didn't affect the way the hat looked and easy to smooth out. Overall really happy.

I bought this for a steampunk party and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was (just the elastic holding it was mildly annoying so I pinned it into my hair) I added a brooch and got lots of compliments- really great for the price
