Does the sander come with sanding sheets

It comes with 3 sheets - gauges as follows - 1 x 80, 1 x 120 1 x 180, hope this helps.

Does this sander get into fine details as I have some spindles on a chair back to sand & wanted to know if this would be a suitable sander for this?

Whilst this particular sander does have the ability to work fine detail on doors and cupboards, i would be very gentle in working on fine detail like chair spindles as its flat sanding base could take the spherical woodworking finish off spindles and flatten off the curves if applied for too long or too heavily. Therefore i would either use a heatgun for removing paint, or work the round spindles by hand in order to maintain there lathed shape. Whilst this is a great sander for most work, i just feel it may be a little to powerful for the work you describe.

Question 3

Need to sand down old stair case, has built up layers of varnish and gloss paint, will this do teh trick and do I need any particular paper?

dont forget old paints are very likely to have lead. Sanding these down will create fine lead dust which can cause serious medical problems, especially for children or those who are pregnant. Use a chemical stripper first.

Question 4

Could I use this to sand down 4 walls 15ft sq room, walls have a textured paint finish (bumpy) and I would like smooth for wallpaper and paint finish

I've just done this as I've sanded two good sized rooms down from hidious plastering to get the walls flat and it did no problem in fact I've used on entire house renovation Tion with no problems except I've just ordered a new plate for it as the sanding pads don't always stick to origanal plate
The sander performed without fault all through plocess it was a good buy I've also got a battery drill from bosch I love it I'll be buying more bosch products in the future
