Happily runs my mini shop vac
Got this in lieu of getting the 6ah one from my local HD, I've only ever had the 2ah batteries and found that the 2 gallon shop vac lasts a few minutes. This 9ah replacement has been a god send for my shop vac and heat gun as they last long and the heat gun actually heats up quicker. The overall build quality is fine and they charge fine on every charger I have, albeit they do take a considerable amount of time to charge.Overall, happy to get this as a replacement and haven't had any issues with it running it in my shop vac, heat gun, or portable pressure washer. If you are a ryobi tool user you owe yourself a large battery.

Good value for a 2 pack
This is a good deal for two large capacity ryobi compatible batteries. I use one with my ryobi leaf blower to do my mom's lawn and it still had two bars when I finished. I would usually drain a ryobi lower capacity battery before the lawn was done.

Be careful
Got my 2 July 10, 2023. Got them to use on my 15 inch weeder and chainsaw. Pretty disappointed. Both will only run my weedeater in low about 6 to 10 minutes before thermally shutting down. It takes a good while before they recover. I run my 4 amp batteries until they are out of power usually 18 to 24 minutes.

High-Capacity vs Ryobi-branded 18V packs, at about ½ the Cost
Two identical ARyee “P109” style battery packs arrived with about 75% charge (3 bars on the green LED charge-meter), allowing them to be used right out of the box. Performance in several of my Ryobi One+ tools was comparable to OEM Ryobi batteries. However, with the stated 18V / 9Ah specs, these battery packs should provide significantly longer runtimes than the OEM 4Ah and 2Ah Ryobi packs I own (roughly 2x and 4x longer, respectively).Like all Power Tool battery packs, this Ryobi-style P109 battery pack is made up of two primary components: 1) the (black) plastic case, and 2) the battery module inside. The post of plastic case is the proper shape/dimensions to attach to Ryobi One+ tools and appears to be durable enough to hold up to normal use. The four metal power terminals are properly positioned to make electrical connection to the charger and the tools. The two finger latches on the sides of the case were surprisingly flexible, making attaching / detaching the battery pack relatively easy despite the larger size case.In order to get the stated 9Ah capacity, the battery module itself must contain a stack of fifteen Lithium-ion cells, wired in a “3P5S” (3 Parallel banks of 5 cells in Series). Wiring 5 cells in series provides the (5 x 3.6V =) 18V for the battery module. Using the parallel configuration, the nominal 9Ah battery module would then be built from individual cells rated at about 3000mAh (2 x 3Ah = 6Ah), which is typical of the latest Chinese-manufactured Li cell offerings. For comparison, the older OEM Ryobi P197 pack uses two banks of 2Ah 18650 cells, placed on top of each other and also wired in parallel (2 x 2100mAh = 4Ah, see photo of P197 battery module). This stacking arrangement of cell banks is the reason this P109 is roughly 3” thick and the OEM P197 pack is roughly 2” thick; some of you may also remember the lower-capacity 2Ah Ryobi battery packs, like the old P103, that were only about 1” thick because they contained just a single 5-cell bank. This high cell-count adds capacity but also results in the pack being heavier than the P197, weighing-in at nearly 2.5lbs (vs 1.5lbs); that might be less desirable when using them with portable tools that are held in one hand (e.g., drills or brad nailers).Overall, these P109 battery packs are some of the highest-capacity alternatives to Ryobi OEM 18V battery packs currently available. Price-wise, these P109s are competitive with other aftermarket offerings, with each 1Ah of “Aftermarket” capacity retailing for about $5 (thus, 2 x 9Ah ~$90), while the OEM Ryobi packs seem to be priced at roughly $10 per 1Ah (4Ah ~$40). I am not yet able to assess the useful lifespan of these P109 packs, but based on my observations thus far, and my familiarity with similar offerings on the market, I would expect them to have comparable life to the OEM Ryobi battery packs.

These are the only replacements I purchase
I found these replacement batteries several years ago, and I love them for the price. They are a fraction of the Ryobi branded price ones you can get at the big box stores. They outperform the original ones I had received for a birthday from my wife. I do mean out performs with no issues, I have owned several original Ryobi packaged batteries from the 2 amp to the 4 amp all of which were $50 or more for each of them. Whereas with this brand I have been able to get two 9am batteries for the price of 2 Ryobi packaged ones. Now for the fun part, testing the capabilities of these batteries. Now I have some tests I do as soon as I get new batteries to help me identify where in the arsenal of tools I plan to use them. I always start them out on my Ryobi Fans to test the endurance of each. I currently have one 4 inch, two 12 inch, and one 18 inch, fans. I put one fully charged battery into the 18 inch and the 12 inch fan, start the timer and let them go. Now the time to beat is the 6 hours my Ryobi branded 4 ap are able to produce . With the 18 inch fan I can get just over 2 hrs of good air circulation, before the blades are just spinning with little to know wind. Now I think this is good and I make it the time to beat for any new batteries that I get. Now for the results of the testing of these new batteries, the 12 inch fan ran just over 24 hours and the speed of the blades were slowing down at this point but I figured if they would last this ;ong that I could mark these as a success!! Now for the 18 inch fan, it was moving good air up to the 4 hour and 45 min mark WOW!!! And then the little 4 inch fan ran for just under 30 hrs. So I would say these are a success and testing these allowed me to know that these will not leave me stranded, and looking for a charged battery in the middle of any project I am working on…

Great replacement batteries for my ryobi tools
When I started building my tool collection I always gravitated toward ryobi tools because of the price and huge selection of different battery powered tools. I don’t use my tools professionally so they have always worked great for me. The batteries that come with most of the tools always seem to be a little under powered for the tool. I have had great luck with replacement high amp hour batteries and these batteries are the best ones I have in my collection. They feel durable with quality fit and finish. They fit easily and snug in all of my tools. I have cycled the batteries several times at this point and haven’t noticed any battery degradation. Highly recommend these batteries.
