Unusual spreadable sausage --nduja in a style from Calabria Italy
Mildly spicy creamy rich pork flavor--there are little chunks of the dried peppers for those who might care about contrasting textures-- it does arrive when ship at room temperature but it is to be kept in the refrigerator after opening. There were a handful of reports of off flavors by others, maybe this has to do with Warehouse issues in terms of temperature fluctuations in storage. our sample was entirely tasty fresh -lovely flavor

Disappointed
Reviews made it sound like this would be flavorful on it's own and as seasoning for other dishes. My palate disagrees. BUT other folks may have sharper taste buds -

You have to get your head around "spreadable" salami.
Truffles and a little heat are a good combination.
