Has this a really almondy marzipan taste or will almond essence need to be added and how much should I order to do a 10" x 10" square cake generously?

This is a super flavoured marzipan paste. I would order 1 large pack (these are twice the size of supermarket packs) or 2 packs if you like a 1/2 inch covering. If you are happy to either freeze any leftovers, or make marzipan sweets/chocolates, then order more. I find this paste freezes well, and can be used at a later date, and still keeps its flavour. Enjoy your baking!

I ordered one yesterday 25/4/23 it arrived 26/4/23 - with an expiry date of end of March 2022 !!! And Amazon refuses refund/replacement- avoid.

How much marzipan and fondant icing would I need for a 20 cm (8 inch square ) Christmas cake

I used a kilo of both on an 8 inch circular cake. I had some marzipan left over, but used all of the fondant as I made polar bears for decoration. I Both products were really nice to use and they also tasted lovely.

What is the shelf life on this? Looking to get in advance ready for christmas cake
