A pocket gem, such a fundamental tool of human kind and this is victorinox's unsung diamond
I think its called the Alox pruner. It has two blades a standard Swiss army bkade , that said it feels slightly thicker than the blade on my huntsman pocket tool and the wee curved pruning blade, the reason I bought it. It has a lovely finish with the textured aluminium scales, facings on the handle. Really comfortable in the hand. Best pocket knife I've owned, bought because of the small curved blade. So handy, neat tidy well made comes razor sharp straight out the box. Used for unpicking fabrics, cutting cord, ropes, and dynema cordage and a small amount of whittling. I bought a lanky blade mefic to keep it sharp. Ideal for round the house most useful shape and its not perceived as intimidating like so many knives. Plus it has a touch of class about it, timeless, could have been used a hundred years ago by an old gentleman cleaning his pipe in his tweed suit by the fire. Would recommend as one of the best fundamental tools anyone could have. I paid about half the current price so just make sure you shop around before buying but would recommend at the right price.

Well made and very lightweight
I already own a multi tool Swiss Army knife but wanted one to sit in my pocket without being bulky to carry around the stables. Blades stay sharp and don’t rust. Great knife.

Nice Alox but get for sub £25
It's a victorinox alox. Nice uk legal pocket knife. Gets regular use.

has a nice feel, and is easy to keep sharp
I should have read the perfectly accurate description: the knife is a tad larger and heavier than I expected. However, as always with he Alox range, a lovely piece of kit. I bought this one for my wife. I have a slightly different model as an every day carry knife and it is robust, has a nice feel, and is easy to keep sharp. Nice knife.

Really great quality.
Fantastic quality as always from victorinox I work in a garden center so use it every day and its still super sharp after a month. The slim design means it fits nicely in jeans pocket. The spring is very strong in it so do be careful when closing. The lack of an eyelet for keyrings does seem like a design oversight but doesn't bother me as I don't use em anyways.

Victorinox Pionier 2
Just recived my new Victorinox Pionier 2 pocket knife to replace a very old well used W. Case clip and pen style.first inpresssions very well made very sharp robust blades, light and easy to carry.would like to have had a lanyard ring but that does not detract from an overall good functional pocket knife

Alox two-bladed knife - just the job
I have previously reviewed the single bladed version of this knife, and this has the same exterior dimensions - 92mm closed and the addition of the second blade adds absolutely no extra width (8mm).A rugged non-nonsense knife in ribbed alox finish, with two well finished razor-sharp blades of the quality you come to expect from Victorinox. The larger blade is 62mm (just a shade under 2 1/2 inches) in length, and the smaller curved (almost hooked) blade is 32mm (1 1/4 inches). Both blades are held open with a strong leaf spring that exhibits no sign of wobble at all, and they close with a satisfying 'snap'. Easy to clean, no bits to gum up or fall off - overall an excellent everyday knife and thoroughly recommended.
