Great value .... great size
Our council has now begun recycling with wheelie bins etc. The kitchen caddy issued is a 7 litre caddy but none of our local supermarkets stock this size, the smallest being 20 litre. I found these 6 litre bio bags on Amazon as this was the nearest size to choose from and decided to take the risk that they would fit. I am delighted to say that the 6 litre size fits my 7 litre caddy perfectly!! These bags fit snugly around the rim with good depth and they are strong and sturdy. I will definitely be purchasing more of these bags when needed. Very pleased.

... of bio degradable bags for the kitchen caddy food waste bin. I paid a good deal more money ...
I was forever searching shops for some kind of bio degradable bags for the kitchen caddy food waste bin. I paid a good deal more money for some made of only paper which could only be filled with very dry food waste as wet would seep through and when put in the recycle bin would smell and let the flies get in and lay their eggs in the food. All this made the bin stink and I had to clean it out every time it was emptied. This made me have the nasty smell in my nose all day. - I tried lots of things to keep the bin clean but it cost me a lot as I had to use a lot of paper bags. Now with these larger big green caddy bags, all I have to do is remove from the caddy and tie up the neck of bag and dump in the recycle bin. I had gotten really paranoid about the smelly bin every week and really dreaded opening the lid to find maggots crawling up inside the bin. My neighbours get this problem too so I have told them to use these wonderful compostable caddy liners. You have solved one of my biggest worries. I detest flies and the maggots they leave on exposed food. Thank you All -Green Caddy liners.

Better if they had handles or were longer
These 6 litre square food waste bags are a clever but not genius invention since we now have the council issued food bins for both inside and outside the home. I do feel there is room for improvement. They are flimsy (like all the other similar types on the market) and the fact they are square is not ideal (they need handles). I have had full bags of food waste in the bags and while attempting to put them in the outside food waste bin they have broken. Not a pleasant clean up exercise to say the least. I now half fill them and tie them in a knot first then take them outside. There are also no handles on these square ones but I seem to run out of the ones we buy at the supermarket and opted for these ones instead. It was nice to receive 150 of them so this way it is unlikely I am going to run out anytime soon. They are made using cornstarch so you can also use them to put your vegetable peels and other compostable food items in and then directly into the composter. The whole system can't work with the food recycling bins, without the food bags, so these are a good choice. *** The reason I have given 4 Stars and not 5 Stars is purely because they really do need to have handles (or be longer), the handles make it possible to fold the bag over the sides of the bin and stop the bag falling into the bin. I bought pegs (didn't think it through too well :-)) and after trying them realised that I can't close the bin so we had to endure the stink of the old food. Oh dear, so the pegs went in the other bin. You really need to be able to close the bin. *** I probably would buy them again but if I can find the ones with handles probably opt for these again instead.

Brilliant little bags!
I wasn't sure what size bags I wanted but was fed up paying such high prices in the supermarket for bio bags which were way too big. I like to put them in the recycling at least once a day to stop smells and flies invading my kitchen, so a smaller bag was what I was looking for. These are perfect - they are strong and fit the container I use exactly - which is about 20cm x 20cm and about 15cm high. I once found myself paying almost £3 for 25 bags in a supermarket so was astonished at the price of these - a great product that I have no hesitation in recommending and will definitely be buying again.

Makes food recycling so much easier
These Biobags are just the business if you love the idea of food waste recycling but hate the mess at the bottom of the kitchen and kerbside caddies. The bags are the perfect size for a small kitchen caddy (ours is a 5-litre, and the bag fits fine), easy to fit with a generous overlap around the edge, and simple to remove. Once you've filled it just tie off the end and drop it into the kerbside caddy. The bags are lightweight but quite strong enough for the job. Clean, simple, no fuss. No problem with the local council collection either, as the Biobags are clearly marked as "compostable waste". My order was delivered very quickly (and with a minimum of packaging, I'm happy to say), and I'll be ordering more for certain.

A good fit in our stainless steel caddy and strong
These fit our Kilner caddy very well, with just enough spare material to ensure that nothing spills down the inside or outside of the caddy. They then go straight into our domestic composters since they rot down fairly quickly. They are good value and good for the environment.

Very effective and strong
I have been using these for several years. Originally bought because they were necessary for our Councils food waste bins. Now used to line the vegetable waste caddy for fruit and veg peelings. Once full they are turned out (bag included) into our compost bin. They appear to rot down very effectively in my home cost heap. Not especially cheap but a pack of 150 lasts for a couple of years or more.

Like the bags not the Price!
Fits the KitchenCraft Living Nostalgia, Kitchen Compost Bin / caddy, nicely this bin has the size of 16.5cm x 24 cm x 12cm and 3litres. Late January 2024 these were £10.99 for 150. Around 6 months later they are £14.79. A bit rich for me now! They are small Bin bags at the end of the day. They are very thin but just about strong enough. However they can easily be pierced with bones etc causing holes but thats to be expected with any bag. holds the smell well when tied up. Easy to tie up. Some have leaked in the caddy without being pierced so that needs cleaning up. They hold the smell well when in the caddy (bin) but this is likely due to the caddy's carbon filter and rubber seal. Purchased for several Years because they are biodegradable but have found other makes that are also biodegradable and meet the same European standard for £7.99 for 120 on offer at the time of purchase. So i’ve changed due to the price. For comparison i have included a photo of the two bags side by side. All-green bag on the right. This bag is a better size and shape compared to the cheaper in price bags. The flat bottom of the all-green bag reduces the chance of the bag pulling down into the bin when filled which is great. However they are thinner than the cheaper bags. Keeps the caddy mostly nice and clean. Every now and then one leaks without being pierced. No handles but they are not needed.

Just okay
Plastic is a bit thin

No valen para nada
Las bolsas son pequeñas y no valen para recoger los residuos de una casa medianamente habitada. No son nada resistentes y se rompen muy fácilmente. Por supuesto con estas características el precio es DESORBITADO.
