White Knight Upright Tall Larder Fridge L240H Freestanding [Energy Class A+]

5 stars - just for the service! When my refurbished version was't available, they sent me a new one for the same price. A kind lad helped it into the kitchen & gave basic guidance. Searching all reviews before purchase, my expectations were raised when I read that White Knight was a (part) re-emmergence of Phillips. The overall frame is sturdy but I do agree with others that the plastic trays could be stronger, and the division into 2 small veg crispers - who thought that was a good idea?- though a bigger + sturdier basket would cost more to make, so instead, I'm grateful for the amazing price. Was concerned for the library lady whose guarantee was rejected - maybe if she could convince them there wasn't a random selection of people using the fridge - just maybe 2 or 3 careful colleagues (equivalent to a family), they might change their mind?

This is a lovely sized fridge for a family, lots of door and shelf space. Easy to move with inbuilt rollers at the back.Only downside was with delivery who wanted to leave it outside the threshold of the house! Took some persuading by my wife for them to bring it in, then left just inside the front door, apparently not insured to bring items in, not much of a delivery service. Would buy the fridge again but would think twice before I bought it here.

I bought this as a second fridge for the utility room and to replace an enormous Hotpoint which after years of service had finally given up the ghost.First impressions was that it was more lightly built and not of the build quality of it's predecessor however it was just what was wanted and at a very good price. It coped well with the usual Christmas overstocking with turkey, vegetables, wine , beer and all the other things that we cram down at the festive season. Of course a fridge is not just for Christmas and has been in constant use since. It maintains its temperature and is almost silent in operation. It comes well provided with shelves and other fittings again these are quite light compared to other fridges I have or have known (I am avoiding the word flimsy {It's not} because of its negative connotations). but they do their job and appear to be durable enough. The fridge is a bland white box and would not look as good as other much more expensive brands if in a kitchen but in the context we use it is absolutely fine. I expect it to last but time will tell (had it 3 months now). I recommend this as a good utilitarian fridge at a good price which does it's job well.

We needed a new fridge to replace our small one after a house move but didn't have enough space (depth) to fit a big one. The White Knight fitted perfectly. it's a great fridge and gives us all the space we need and at a great price too. Delivery was quick and friendly. We are very happy with it.

I bought this upright fridge on the basis of 1) price and 2) positive Amazon reviews.Not disappointed.It is installed in the utility room and we are very happy with it. Loads of shelves, loads of room!The only issue is that the instruction book related to a different version of fridge, so when it came to hanging the door on the opposite side it required some brain power and common sense.However, after roughly 1 hour of highs and lows, I managed the task and all is well.

I love this larder fridge..clean simple lines and lots of space. Replaced a different make of similar style which had broken and was no longer available...this does the job perfectly and so reasonably from this seller...delivery was well informed to me, super-quick and a really helpful pleasant driver too !

It is impossible to regulate the temperature of this fridge. The food or drinks at the bottom actually freeze up whilst the food on the top shelf is too warm. We keep a thermometer in the fridge and have tried various settings but none are successful.A crack appeared in the plastic at the top frame - just above the door opening within a week of arrival.The plastic food holders at the bottom of the fridge are very small and flimsy, so overall we are very disappointed with the product.I think the product is made solely for cheapness and not really fit for purpose therefore I would not recommend it to anyone at all.
