Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Shampoo Shampoo

I’ve used this shampoo for a few years now. It’s very good and keeps my hair looking healthy. Expensive but lasts a long time

After an illness my hair became very dry and brittle, looked like a birds nest, no more. This shampoo and conditioner sorted my hair right out. No more snapping or struggling to brush or comb. My hairdresser really noticed the difference so did other people.

The old ones are the best: great product. Kind to your hair, and smells amazing

I have since changed to dry remedy, this left my hair tired. It may just be too heavy for Afro hair, and dry remedy might just be what one needs to impart moisture and prevent damage/breakage in the long run.

After having my hair absolutely ruined by some awful blonde highlights I have been searching for a shampoo to repair the damage.... this is it!! It is amazing. My hair, even after shampooing was a matted, sticky mess. I have tried so many brands, cheap and expensive and nothing has worked so far. After just one wash my hair feels like hair and is soft and manageable!! This is quite pricey for a shampoo but in my opinion well worth every penny. I had almost got to the point where I was going to have all my long hair chopped off to start over but not now!

Certainly seems very gentle on hair. I have very fine hair which had gotten extremely damaged. I decided to make sure I got a good quality shampoo that wouldn't strip it or cause further damage. My hair is becoming less frizzy, but as i also have greasy hair, it does tend to leave it a bit greasy and heavy. It is definitely a great product, just not quite suited to my hair type, I think if you had dry, damaged hair it would be great! I'll continue to use it about once a week and am looking for another restorative shampoo that will not weigh my hair down.

I have chemicaly straightned african hair and it is quite damaged to the point were i was scared to brush it because it would break! i had tryed a lot of damage shampoos over the years and the just dried my hair out and made it tangle easily which made it even worse! so i dicided to buy Aveda Damage Remedy because it has no sulphates in it. this was the first time I have tried aveda and even though I have only used it once, i can see and feel a BIG difference in my hair. it feels soo soft and moisturised and it is much more shiny and IT DOESNT TANGLE which is a BIG plus for me.my hair also feels stronger because when i brush it, it doesnt break as much. i used the Aveda Damage Remedy Shampoo with the Aveda Intensive Restructuring Treatment and I Love it! I can't wait to wash my hair for a second time. and it seems like a lot of money to spend but it is so much value.
