I love these types of light which I have bought previously for my god daughters. But we found them to be good for us to use when we want to relax or when having parties. Lie in bed or on a reclining sofa with the star effect turned on and the rotation of the star effect almost hypnotises you.This one really give a star and galaxy effect where as others we have had have been simple lighting effects, this one is more aptly named as a galaxy projectorI found the instructions and the remote to be a bit useless and worked it out quicker once I just used the buttons on the unit and had a play around with it. It has a speaker, which isn't brilliant quality, but might be handy on occasion. Kids would probably use it more than adults.So although this does other things, we will mainly use it for the star effect. I really wish though that the constellations weren't mapped out in the star slide. They could have been added to a separate slide for those who want to learn the constellations.

The media could not be loaded.  Really cool light with a built in Bluetooth speaker. The light comes with two laser outputs, one projector for the planetary slides (you get 2, 1 is already inside the unit) and the central light that changes colour. The central light has a rippled look and the effect is almost like agitated water and does look serene and pretty. However, if you're looking for something without any effects the light comes with a dome attachment with a frosted finish that effectively diffuses the light so it looks softer and more even. This dome attachment is connected to the main unit using a piece of string that looks exactly like the kind you find on new clothes to attach the price label to the size tag area. I would have expected this to be a bit more premium feeling given the cost (maybe a silicone band or a shorter more professional looking string).The sound is okay. When searching for the device I found "headset" and clicking on this helped to connect the light to my phone (afterwhich the device name changed). The sound is okay, almost no bass so might not be idea for parties or raves like the listing suggests but better for ASMR and other relaxing acoustic type audios.The features are really cool because there's a button to make some of the constellations move so you have the base "stars" shining and you'll see some others moving gradually which is a nice effect. I'm not crazy about the green laser colour and would have preferred either the ability to change the colour or a warm white/yellow option instead. The button on question is the "S+-" but I found that there were only two options, the constellations were either moving or they weren't. I tried to take a video of the movement.Overall really nice light with a fun effect. I can see this helping to create a relaxing environment and could be really fun for babies to help calm them maybe. I like it :)

For £50 this is a great stary nightlight fitting for any bedroom.I like it a lot and have it set up in my bedroom. Stars are great. You can make them out. You slide in a little wheel with the pictures on and turn on and enjoy the lightshow.Well made and very easy to use. Remotes not bad either.I like it and must give it 5-5. Best I've got now. It's amazing. Recommended.

This is genuine fun and our four year old grandson loves the "disco lights" as his mummy uses this in a darkened lounge with music. They are better than you might imagine if you've never seen one before - very bright in a dark room and really quite spectacular in their way. This one works really well and is very good value. Take note that the "night sky" is not a genuine representation of the heaven, though, just a mass of twinkling "stars".

This is the Rolls Royce of projectors. It’s more expensive than some, but the projected images and the variety, plus the sound quality from the speakers make this the best.It’s very easy to set up and the galaxy projected plus the colours and brightness can all be easily controlled. Pairing with a music source like phone or iPod is straightforward and then you have a space type light show or you can set it up in a sitting room and convert it to a party disco atmosphere. The sound quality is surprisingly good. It’s well presented and would be a great gift idea. I find the starry patterns at night with an audiobook playing really relaxing.

The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely love this, I'm a big space fan so this is right up my alley, the item itself is very well made and solid, it has a lot of features and you can connect via Bluetooth, I only have 1 issue with this and that's the price, at the time of review this is priced at £49.99 and personally I think this is too high, I have very similar projectors and ok this is better quality but honestly I wouldn't expect to pay more than £30 for this, it's nice it's good quality but the price for me is too high
