Immediately I liked it because of it's sleek look. Easy to use, I was quite surprised at the very good sound and picture quality, though it would have been nice to have a slightly bigger screen. The carrying case is good and holds the accessories with ample room and is ideal for bedroom.It would be good if the manufacturer could make access to the battery on the remote control easier it is quite difficult given the size of the remote to use one hand to pull a small leaver with one hand and slide with the other. I spent ages trying to open the battery compartment having purchased a battery to find one was already inserted, stating that the battery was already inserted would have been useful to know in advance.Overall very good value for money.

I bought this to replace my Toshiba 7" portable DVD player that I had for 2 years, this one is just as good, I love it! Haven't tried the multiregion aspect but I like having the option. The screen is clear and the colour is spot on! The battery lasts about 2 hours, and can be watched without the charger being in (which my brother's cant). The rotating screen is very handy, my desk is small and turning the whole player on the diagonal so I can see it isn't an option so rotating the screen had been brilliant for my back :)10/10

I have to say how really impressed I was with this, It was everything that I expected and more more! The picture quality and sound are superb!! The fsct that I got a case to put it in, as well as a headset, 2 charges, one for home and car, plus a special wiring to plug in your dvd player to your normal tv! It is way better than the old Philips dvd player!!! Recommend anyone to get this! Am now awaiting for some region 1 DVDS to play it, it works well with region 2 as well.

Pretty good portable DVD player, and for the price good value. I was at a disadvantage because my one never arrived with a manual so had to muddle through.Good things: swivel screen, lightweight, loads of accessories, links to TV, great battery life, multi-region, multi-formatNot so good things: clunky buttons (not same as picture), sound on unit while playing through TV, confusing remote, bizarre menu systemThe world of portable DVD players is a nightmare, with so many to choose from that your head spins.I would recommend this, mainly due to price (although it was £55.99 plus P+P when I bought it) and the amount of extras... but eh, what do I know!?

Bought this for a good price. Overall I lie the product and it came with a remote. It broke after a year but guarantee ran out before hand

Charging cable didn't work straight out of the box, which meant it had to be plugged in to work at all. We were due to take a trip through the Scottish Highlands with our 2.5 year old so we thought we'd try it anyway and return it if it didn't work well. Even plugged in, it only worked for literally 5 minutes. We were in the car several hours a day for 6 days straight with a 2.5 year old. This was a MAJOR disapointment and I returned it as soon as we got back.

Although this player appeared to be a decent enough item when tested, potential buyers should beware that it cannot handle 4:3 format, which seems an amazing oversight but typical. It means that anything not made in widescreen is stretched out of shape across the player's screen. For me that meant rejection and Amazon dealt with the return and refund with characteristic efficiency. i'm still looking for a portable DVD player that will handle 4:3, if anyone can help! Not necessarily multiregion although that would be a bonus.

I'm really disappointed in this product. I was so excited to buy it as the majority of my DVDs are region 1 and 3. I tested three different DVDs to make sure that it wasn't the disk that was damaged - none of them worked. I then tested a standard UK DVD and this worked perfectly. I feel like this product is either advertised incorrectly or this is simply faulty. Going off of other people's reviews, I feel as though the DVD player is hit and miss as to whether it works. Extremely let down, I'll be sending this back and searching for another DVD player.
