Bought two of these for my garden lodge, installed by the electrician as part of my build.Wow this is a brilliant product for the money!I normally have them static mode A06 with no rotation. Yes the motor does make a little bit of noise when rotating, but you don't need to Rok da House to drown out the noise of the motor. This product is quieter in static mode than my other disco lights which in comparison make an absolute racket.My only slight criticism is that the mode to respond on the loudness of the music could be a lot more sensitive to quieter sounds, though no real negative at all.My electrician was so impressed he's buying his own :)

The product was as advertised. I had a great new year party with it. I have used all colors mode, max speed and sound activated. Really great. For a good response on sound activated, your music needs to be relatively loud, but that's fine, as you can't have it any other way if you are throwing a disco party! I saw some users concerned about the equipment's noise while working, but I have to say is not that bad. Of course is louder if you use max speed, but still for me the noise is low. And on top, if you use it with music you will not even ear it! It is great to have a good set of speeds and different color modes to choose. I am curious about the DMX512 control panel which I could not test as I do not have a strobe, but looking forward to get one and take my parties to the next level.

Very good disco ball approximation. Well packaged and a nice effect in use... BUT there are big issues with the way the DMX connectors are wired on the one I got. The DMX in works but the DMX out is wired completely incorrectly and will mess up the rest of the DMX chain. I've ended up using it with a wireless DMX sender/ receiver so that to doesn't mess up my DMX.

I have brought dome lights at 4 x the price and I think these are just as good for the price, They look good with or without smoke machine and you can adjust speed of rotation and colour If you are a mobile dj these are a good addition to your light set up, aspecially if doing 60,70,80.s parteisThe only fault I found was the sound to light mode was poor, but that is not a problem as I think they are best used in just rotation mode.I normally hire this type of light out in pairs if it is being used in halls

So excited by this purchase - the first time I've persuaded hubby that we need something like this for all the kids' parties we needlessly throw (because we are clearly deranged and we don't like clean carpets anyway!)Got this for Halloween, and will use it for a small hall party again in January. I love that you can select different sets of colours. I just all-round like it for the reasonable price.Minor quibble - the top sort of wobbles and is slightly crooked, but for the price it's a fabulous thing!

Good product. Does the job nicely.There are 2 reasons why it's 4 stars and not 5,Firstly, the power supply is from a mains transformer instead of an IEC lead. An IEC lead would be more flexible and allow to put these things up in light trusses with standard cables instead of the custom transformers. I had to get a couple of IEC to 13A adapters which was a bit of a pain.Secondly, is because it breaks my DMX chain.I bought two of these to use in a nightclub rig. I added them into my light show with DMX and unfortunately everything AFTER these lights stopped responding to DMX properly. As soon as either of these were taken out of the chain, it functioned perfectly again.The thing is, these cost 1/3 the price of the comparable competition with the cheapest I've seen the competition is an Acme RGB Astro which the cheapest I've seen it is £110.£75 difference between them. And quite frankly I don't see how or why. You can have THREE of these things for the same price as the competition and still have change left over.I ran this light and an Acme Astro side by side hanging from a 12m high light bar. And brightness wise, they both looked exactly the same to me. The effect is exactly the same as any competition I've seen, for 1/3 the price.Yes it has faults. But it works well enough and I'm happy enough with the price. Would definitely recommend if you don't require the DMX to work.

Works well for house parties. Certainly not pro grade. plenty of electronic patterns though. plastic lenses but surprisingly bright for LEDs. If you don't know the size, its like a football. Reviews for this item seem a little biased (in favour) which put me off initially but thought Id give it a go and haven't been disappointed. Great for house parties and church hall. Mobile DJ would need a good case for it to prevent damage. Good product.

I was going to purchase a "jelly dome" which is an alternate brand that retails for well over £100 - 1 of which I have owned previously, but I thought I would give this a try, and I must say....very impressed!The range of light modes and settings is more than adequate, and the automatic sound control is great for plug and play, and the lights reflect the music beat and rhythm, perfect for any beginner.Feels sturdy in the build, and is excellently packaged - well worth a shot if you wish to avoid spending £100's on alternatives!
