CloverCLOVER Picot Gauge Set, Metal, Multi-Colour,18.5x5x11 cm

Tried tatting just to see if I liked it which I do but picots, oh my god picots!!! Could I get them even? Aaaaagh the frustration! Then I spotted these little beauties & thought, now that's a good idea as other gauges looked fiddly to get to grips with for a beginner & I was using an old crochet hook so was stuck with only 1 size. What is great about these is they are small so are easy to use & depending on how they are held against the thread either full size or half (instructions are on the packaging). I like the holes in the top which are great for popping on a keyring but I keep them in a little pocket of an old purse I use for my tatting bits & they fit perfectly & are always to hand. A great little set which has set me up for a lifetime of frustration free tatting.

Having just started tatting I was dissapointed with my picots...getting them all the same size is really difficult. However, with these picot guides it makes them perfect every time, whatever size you wish. I would recommend these guides, they are neat and very smooth so no pulled threads!

Made picot easy.I am just learning to tat and found pivots really hard not getting them equal. These gauges really have helped.

I'm new to tatting and these gauges are a great help. Bit awkward at first plenty of patience required but well worth it, finished result is fantastic.

Love this! I have the old stepped version, but this is so much easier to use.

Nicely packaged and presented with a good range of sizes. I found them difficult to hold and make the picot at the same time but I did get consistent picot sizes.

These are GREAT, easy to use, sizes are perfect. (Wish they offered a 1”) otherwise they are super. Wish I had ordered them earlier.

Man kann damit gleichmäßige Ösen machen, ohne zusätzliche Messungen, als Abstandhalter perfekt. Die Arbeiten sind gleichmäßiger als ohne diese.

If you like to perfect your work in tatting, you absolutely need to invest in these gauges. You get picots in exactly the same size. I really love them and can 't do without them. Wished there were even larger sizes for certain tatting patterns.
