A perfect solution!
While I was preparing for eye surgery last year, my post-surgical recovery instructions included no bending down and no lifting anything over 10lbs. My dog Frodo, a 26lb Corgi-mix, requires lifting up and down due to back issues frequent in the breed, so I bought this steps unit to get me through my recovery period. It has been the perfect solution!Frodo was quick to understand how to use the steps, although he trusted going up more than coming down, and it even works for my 13 lb Siamese cat, Samwise! Frodo has used the steps at least twice a day over the past year and they're still in good shape, so I rate them an excellent investment. (While the steps are reasonably steady, a frisky dog can cause wobbling, so I recommend using your hand to steady the unit when in use.)I also bought a second unit to keep in the car. The steps fold up and take very little room behind the front seat, even in my small Honda CR-V. The price is reasonable and the safety and convenience are sterling!I highly recommend this item for small to medium sized dogs and cats.

Perfect item, 100% recommended
One of my best purchase on Amazon. This is perfect for my baby shitzu, it’s strong and exactly the size mentioned. Easy for my dog to climb on my bed, perfect height, and it looks amazing.

Solid purchase for senior cat
My cat’s arthritis is pretty significant and he loves using these stairs to get to his favorite out-of-reach surfaces. Easy assembly. Fairly sturdy but does have a bit of a wobble if he gets a running start.

The best dog stairs I’ve found so far
This was super easy to set up. Remove it from the box, gently pull the bottom of the support away from the bottom step until clicks into place at a 90° angle to the top step. Peel and stick the pre-cut carpet pieces to each tread and apply the peel-and-stick pieces to the bottom, to prevent the stairs from moving and protect your floors. My senior dog was not confident with the stairs for the first two days. I put a treat on each step a few times per day, whenever he showed hesitation or avoided the stairs. I also associated these plastic stairs with other stairs that the dog uses regularly with no issues, by placing these stairs nearby, and by placing treats on these new stairs and on stairs already familiar to the dog. By day three, my old dog was using these stairs confidently, and is much less at risk of injury than by his usual parkour techniques. I’ve tried several stairs, ramps, etc, and this is the first one that my stubborn dog will use properly. The only issue I have is that it is so lightweight that it moves sometimes when the dog (under 20 lb) is using it. I improvised a weight over the lowest crossbar on the support section, which helped, and I plan to find or make a sandbag-style weight to drape over that support bar. If the bottom step had a shelf or hook for optional weights, everything would look tidy, and it would still be easy to set up, hide away, or move to a different spot.

Definitely Serves Its Purpose for SOME Dogs…
Bought it to help my senior small dog (chihuahua mix, approx 10 lbs.) with getting up on the bed now that he can’t quite jump as high anymore. He started using it day 1 within an hour of setting it up and showing it to him.++ Pros:+ It does lock in place firmly and without fail, and is easy enough to lock/unlock and collapse.+ Easy to clean and sanitize.+ The overall height from ground to top is good for small breeds.+ The incline isn’t too steep.+ The step-up height should work for most, although I’d definitely double check measurements before buying for dogs with longer bodies or shorter legs (dachshunds, corgis, etc.).+ So far it seems these may last a while if taken care of properly and kept clean.— Cons:- The surface size of each step doesn’t give as much room as some may need, possibly making it a little harder on those who need a little extra foot space for support.- The fabric shown on the steps is actually thin felt-like adhesive pads that you have to apply yourself (included with purchase). The adhesive is decent, BUT the pad itself doesn’t give much grip and might cause missteps or slips. I’d definitely recommend adding some silicone grip strips or tiny shower anti-slip spots to each pad, or just opt for using better quality pads from somewhere else.- The sturdiness of the main material it’s made of is functional but lacking - it’s much thinner than I’d hoped for. It’s durable, but the light weight of it plus the thinness makes it wobble slightly whenever my dog goes up them too quickly or missteps a bit.- It also comes with four VERY small adhesive “grips” you’re supposed to stick on the bottom to prevent slipping around on the floor. They’re incredibly small, thin, terrible quality foam-like material with no grip AT ALL, and the adhesive works about as well as using a glue stick on them would. All four came off after TWO DAYS of use. I even tried superglueing them on as a last resort, but they’re so small and slick that even putting a rug under the stairs didn’t keep it from sliding around. I ended up gluing on some small silicone grip strips instead. Do yourself and your pet a favor and just throw the ones they send with this straight in the trash with the shipping box. 0/10 on this part!!- Not a huge deal, but worth a mention: they do make a bit of noise when being used, at least on my hardwood floor with a rug. They’re thin and hollow so I did expect a little noise. It isn’t loud, but you’ll definitely get used to the “thunka-thunk” sound quickly.== Overall:Not great, not terrible. They are cheaper than most other ones like this for a reason, and you get what you pay for, mostly. The slightly-shaky stability of the material, sub-par grip of the fabric pads and absolute garbage bottom grips are the biggest complaints I have, and they are big concerns anyone should take into consideration before purchasing. If you can deal with a bit of simple and cheap diy reinforcements, these aren’t a terrible option for the price compared to other similarly sized ones that are 2-3x more costly. They’re decent budget steps for a dog who’s learning to adapt to their limitations, as long as the dog is the right size and has only mild to moderate mobility issues.

works very well for our aging cat
We bought this for our 14 year old cat that is having arthritis issues and couldn't jump up on the bed anymore. All 3 of our cats use it. It seems very sturdy and none of them hesitated to climb it. I would recommend for others with aging cats.

Light but sturdy
Light, but sturdy, one piece, foldable steps for my older fur babies. Reasonably price, good buy.

Sturdy stairs
These are sturdy stairs and easy to use. Just slide the bar out and click in. They were too short and I had to return them but I'm hoping to find some taller from the same company.
