Unusable
I don't use this lock at all anymore. It's jammed on me so many times I fear I'm going to have to abandon my bike one day when it won't open. The unlock is strong enough but the actual locking mechanism seems poor quality.Alot of money for something that doesn't work properly. A quick look on the Internet reveals I'm not the only one with this problem.Update, the lock was repaired free of charge including postage by Litelock. Hopefully I won't have any further problems. This has since been repaired free of charge by litelock including postage and packaging. It seems to be working fine now

Feels like it would be impossible to cut, therefore good value
I bought this for my motorcycle. It's big, sturdy, and feels like it's makers claim, that it will be nigh on impossible to cut with a hand operated angle grinders. Two very minor points to consider - 1) I've used D-locks for years and this one is quite fiddly to get on and off; 2) if you're using it in conjunction with a chain (which had been my plan), be aware the sprongs are quite wide, and your chain might not fit through

Brilliant
The ultimate in security. I have two one for road pedal bike and one for 125 XMax. If someone has to spend 20 mins to cut through this lock, you’re not getting the bike. For the people who need instructions and say it’s not easy to lock and unlock?? What planet are you from, it’s so simple a chimp could do it. Insert the key - two are provided - turn the lock and the main part releases. Push back on and turn the key.

So far all seems ok. Gives confidence that bike is protected
Seems ok at the moment and the bike fitting onto which the lock is mounted when not in use has been ok. It’s quite secure when in that but takes a bit of effort to twist out and back in (though I think this is unavoidable as you want it to be secure). Bit worried about the reviews that mention difficulty in unlocking so I will watch for problems there…Is quite heavy but this is probably due to its method of construction (it’s very dense) and is reassuring.

Looks & feels strong, Follow the science for peace of mind
If you have a fat e-bike, you may have to think hard as to where you store the lock on the bike. It's heavy enough for me not to want it on my body. In my case, I ordered a rear carrier with the bike. I was able to mount the lock storage bracket on the carrier. Apart from this, there was no place to mount the lock on my bike frame. I do have peace of mind securing my bike with his lock.

Bought to ward my bike from London's feral youth
Perfect at stopping whatever it's securing from getting lifted - any criminal in the know will just choose the next bike. Of course completely irrelevant at preventing them from lifting any part of your bike that isn't locked down, or indeed trying to damage the thing out of sheer frustration at being unable to actually steal it...The mount isn't so good though - can be finicky to twist, and hard to fit in a way where it doesn't rapidly start wobbling about. Hope they upgrade this - a traditional click-lock mechanism a la Kryptonite would be infinitely superior.

Litelok X1
From the reviews I have seen it is the best option for an expensive bicycle. Speed of delivery was amazing. However the downside, I could not find the instructions in the box or online. Frustrated I was rewrapping it to return to Amazon when I spotted a card with a picture of the lock and at the very bottom right corner in tiny writing that I missed several times it says photograph the image for instructions DOH. Not good for us non gadget oldies. The only other real issue with this amazing lock is while cycling the actual lock keeps swivelling little by little out of alignment hitting my knee as I am unable to tighten the two plastic straps enough holding the bracket to the cycle frame. No idea how or if this will worsen. Other than that it's an incredible piece of kit. So I guess worse case it goes in my back pack or I purchase the dedicated belt carrier form the lock.

Will stop working
I have used this for a few months for securing my motorbike. Over time the locking mechanism has refused to open or close without being vertical. More and more vertical until today when I could not get it through my wheel and vertical enough for it to lock. Ergo it is useless.Something internal to the lock is degarding over time. This smacks of poor standards in its manufacture. Or perhaps it's a feature they intended ?Either way I want my money back - it doesn't do what it was sold for.
