Barney Butter Almond Butter, Vanilla + Espresso, 10 Ounce

Mainly eat this off the spoon as a quick snack since I don't eat grains... I enjoy that this variety is lower carb than the regular Barney butter and to me it is reminiscent of eating the chocolate cookie part of an oreo without the white middle... If you like that flavor you just might like this almond butter. I really didn't taste the vanilla but I enjoyed the flavor and gritty crunch of the espresso beans...like getting the chance to eat a cookie without the carbs...please be advised that since it has espresso in it, there is caffeine in it. If you want a bit more sweet and more crunch, try the honey and flax seed...it is subtly sweet and the flax gives it a good crunch...that variety is also lower in carbs than the original and crunchy Barney Butter. My favorite thing is that the Barney Butters all are made with the skin off the almonds so it is smoother than most and has a better flavor IMHO...I like them all and they also make a wonderful nut butter fudge! Just substitute Barney butter for recipes calling for peanut butter.

So it's not sweet. But I won't lower the rating because that's my bad for not paying attention to the label and reviews. It is a nice creamy conductancy with some crunch of espresso. But even without sweetness being a factor I did not taste vanilla or much coffee. It doesn't have too much taste at all really. But if u r looking for something natural and rather healthy this is for you. I plan to still eat it. But I might mix a tiny amount of Nutella with it to add some taste so it doesn't go to waste. Though what was awesome is I have prime two day shipping but this actually arrived over night. One day!! That's nice =]

I do not get much espresso taste from this, nor vanilla. It DOES taste like almonds, however, its not a great taste. It is just..blandish. Sure it has some sweetness and i like the tiny crunch of the espeesso beans but i have had better. Perhaps if it had chocolate in it or toffee it would be better. I do enjoy that it is non gmo and gluten free though and it has less calories/fat than peanut butter. It gets better the more you eat it, the initial spoonful or cracker is ifffy but a few in the flavor gets tastier so dont give up on it.Note - i recieved this item in exchange for an honest review.

If you are looking for something sweet, but low in carbs, this is great, even though it is expensive. My 4-star rating is because in the last half dozen jars I have purchased, the oil had separated. I don't like the time it takes to beat the oil back in. Hopefully this problem will be corrected.

I tried other flavored almond butters to save money, but I missed this stuff too much to give it up. It. Is. The. BEST! Excellent flavor and consistency (stir well, then store in fridge). And only 1 gram of sugar per 2 T! Maybe the cost will come down when the almond crop fares better. But whether it does or doesn't, this is the only flavored almond butter–make that the only almond butter, period—I will buy from now on.

We typically love almond Barney Butter but the vanilla bean espresso didn't taste great. It didn't really taste like any of those flavors which was disappointing. It's edible but we didn't even finish the jar.

This doesn't have much of a distinct taste in my opinion. But it does taste good. Personally don't think it is worth the price. I'd just buy regular almond butter next time in a bigger jar.

OMG, I have finally found an Almond butter that I absolutely LOVE! No gritty taste, the consistency is nice and smooth and did I mention that the taste is FREAKING AMAZING! I will definitely give the other flavors a try, but this one. Oh My
