Well made spinner , bought it for a memorial for my brother in law after he passed away. It's very patriotic and works perfectly.

We live in Arizona, so sunshine is not a problem.I love wind spinners - I currently own three and want more. I have tried the battery operated spinners, and I have wrestled with long extension cords in my back yard to set up the A/C adapter (power cord) spinners. In the end, I wasn't happy with replacing batteries or the tacky look of extension cords in my backyard, so I decided to give this solar spinner a try.I wish it had a small battery that it could charge so that these would spin for just a few hours after the sun sets. Spinners look absolutely amazing at dusk, or at night with a spotlight shining on them. Unfortunately, this spinner turns off when the sun begins to set.I still prefer this solar spinner over the battery and power cord spinners that I own because it is the easiest to set up and forget about. I have purchased two so far and will definitely be purchasing more of these solar spinners.If you're like me and live in a sunny city and don't want to deal with batteries and power cords, then you will love this solar spinner.

The media could not be loaded.  Pros:-matches the color of my stained glass perfectly.-has a remote!-battery operated (2 AAA), so you don't have to rely on solar.-small so it doesn't take away from what you're displaying.-satin texturization that doesn't take away from what you're displaying and also keep it from looking tacky.-so far seems weather proof! Has held up in heat, rain, storm, cold, and wind!Cons:-battery life is definitely limited even with it having 2 AAA batteries.-if you want to use timer, which I do to conserve battery life, the max is only 2 hours-it has a remote, but you have to be relatively close (5-6ft) for it to work. Which makes it pointless since I can't just turn it one from inside my house (additional 10ft from where I have tobstand to use it).-the cost. For the size, and the fact that it's battery powered, I feel like it should be cheaper.-only comes in white and this pink so far I've seen.Over all, 6/10 would recommend. 4/5 stars for so many cons.

Truly only works while in direct lighting, which I thought I had but found it that I only get it in the morning. I'm hoping as the summer goes by I will get a few more hours of use from them. They weren't expensive so I kept them anyway.Update: I moved them from under my porch and now they're in the sun all day and work great!Really makes them look like the wind is turning them gently.

These work great at first but after the first strong breeze, the gears strip and it is completely useless!UPDATE: I was contacted by the seller and they informed me that this item did not contain batteries and would not rotate if not in direct sunlight (this I knew).The problem is, in direct sunlight, I can hear the motor turning but the output shaft is not, which lead me to the conclusion that the gears are stripped. To say I'm not impressed with the product or the customer service is a massive understatement!

I got this as a gift for my father, who had a similar spinner but the printed on design flaked away.This was a great replacement and I've noticed that after seven months of it hanging outside in the elements, exposed to rain, snow, sleet, and the wind, that this, too, is peeling and flaking away. It's a huge disappointment for me because my father was excited to have a replacement. Looks like I'll have to find something a little more elaborate and whose artistic design doesn't erode away.
