Double vinyl LP pressing including digital download. 2017 album from the pop star, her first album in nearly five years. Rainbow marks a new beginning for Kesha, one based around inner strength and musical exploration as she achieves her vision for the album by enlisting a roster of collaborators ranging from Eagles of Death Metal to Dolly Parton. Ben Folds produced the title track with Kesha, while Ricky Reed produced and wrote numerous tracks as well. Wrabel co-wrote a collaboration that features the Dap-Kings horn section. Eagles of Death Metal are featured on two tracks, while Parton guests on a version of her 1980 country chart-topper "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You." The track was co-written by Kesha's mother Pebe Sebert, who also has other songwriting credits on Rainbow.

Makes me smile, cry, and sing along! GO KESHA
A wonderful, triumphant, life-affirming album I want to buy for everyone in my life who appreciates meaningful, honest lyrics as much as a catchy good time. Initially I skipped over the slower songs like "Bastards" and "Praying," and I wasn't quite sure what to make of album closer "Spaceship," but after a couple listens, I love these songs just as much as the upbeat, singalong-ready "Learn to Let Go," "Boogie Feet," and "Let 'Em Talk." THIS is the album Lady Gaga wanted to make with Joanne and Katy Perry wanted to make with Witness--but NEITHER of them have the raw vulnerability, honesty, sheer strength, and power showcased here. KESHA ROSE FOREVER! P.S. And for anyone who still (wrongly) thinks Kesha can't sing, just find her old songs Goodbye or Sunday Morning online...much more representative of her talent (and this era) than Tik Tok.

A magical kaleidoscope of strength, beauty, and rejuvination.
The songs are beautiful. I did like the autotune Kesha a lot but this music is great as well, and there's still a bit of tuning going on some of the tracks. I understand that there was a lot of emotion behind the songs and you can really feel that as she's singing. The rush of rejuvination, rebirth, and ascension that comes from Praying and Learn To Let Go, is absolutly incredible and are easily two of my favorite songs of all time.I really appreciate this album coming at a time in my life that I really needed the words from this album. I hope that she is able to come back from whatever she has been through and get herself back to a place where she is both mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy. I wish her this as I wish the same for myself. Rock on, Kesha!

Great CD!
Such an amazing performer! I love her music, it got me through a tough time in my life. One of the songs on this CD became my fight song, the one that I listened to over and over again to get me through my day. It made me stronger and reminded me that "I've got this", "I can get through this" "I am strong" I know she may never see this review but Thank you Keisha for being an amazing singer and helping me get through a tough time in my life with out even knowing me! Your music has touched me and made me stronger!

What a phenomenal comeback album for Kesha
I honestly didn't know that much about Kesha until I saw her video for Praying. Due to a personal situation I was/am going through the song really resonated with me. I then heard a few other songs off of Rainbow and decided to purchase, I was not disappointed! I also read about her story, and I commend her for sticking to it, and continuing on inspite of difficult circumstances. I now listen to Rainbow in "heavy rotation" on my personal playlists, as I find that I can relate to every single song. She is wise beyond her years, and I'm very happy that she is accepting of all people, as I am. I am certainly much older than she is, but she's certainly relatable! I look forward to more of her work.

Kesha’s Country & Pop Show.
Kesha is back and better than before. Let me start off with a warning if you don’t like country music or open to giving it a try then don’t buy this. Most of this album is country & pop and its on the country tracks that Ms. Sebert really shines especially on “Spaceship” and “Old Flames Can’t Hold A Candle to You” a duet with the legendary Dolly Parton. The pop tracks “Woman” an anthem to feminist thinking about not a man is an awesome track complete with an awesome horn section (Dap Kings Horns) and lead single “Praying”. I not really into country music but decided to give it a try because it was Kesha and I’m glad I did and you will too, it’s just that good.

A masterpiece
I got to see her at a radio station concert around Christmas and she was so much fun. What a voice. There is almost no song on this album I don’t like. It flows so well too like an album should. She’s a great songsmith who can really craft a hook. Danceable hummable and the song praying really resonated with me like it did with so many other women I am sure. I am so glad she triumphed and broke free cause there is so much more to this woman then just the “party animal” seen in videos she’s a true artist

Nice for a not too different sound.
Ordered and received the proper explicit version of the cd. I liked the cd, it's a fresh change from what you normally hear anymore. Songs flow together, not to much pop, rock, country or however you want to take them as. Downside was the cd packaging, arrives in a cardboard sleeve but the cd wasn't damaged, came with digital copy as well and pre-order price guarantee refunded me a few dollars after release. Thank you Kesha for releasing something different yet still you!

Don't Hesitate-- Buy This Album
Kesha has always been an incredibly talented, intelligent, and hardworking artist, and this latest album serves as further proof of that. It might bring you to tears, and it might bring you hope again. It might heal you, and it might give you the courage to start fighting."Rainbow" is everything. It is, as Kesha herself sings, "a hymn for the hymnless." Give it a chance, and-- if you've heard some of the songs elsewhere and know you like or love them already-- if you are able to, please support this album financially, too, and buy it. Let's show the industry how much we care about this album. Let's show them that Kesha spoke to us in a way that resonated.
