Easy to use and play with. The large playing cards in particular were a real hit! It was funny seeing small hands handle these cards!

My six year old is just learning the game of checkers and this is such a wonderful set up. It's nice and big so he can clearly see all the possible moves he can make. And his little brother likes to watch and learn through observation. As for the big cards, they are more for fun and are not very practical for my boys right now. They are a little harder for them to hold and manage. My five year old gets a little frustrated trying to organize his matches "just so" when they are this big in size. But still....we laughed a lot when we first opened them. They are just so silly to play with a deck this size so I'm still going to give it 5 stars.

This is seriously so fun. My kids and I played several games with checkers and the cards! My kids are 5 and 7 and I thought this was a great way to teach them checkers. How fun too to play with these jumbo cards. We had a blast.

My grandson was so happy with his 6th birthday present. He and his brothers, 12 & 7 years old, played for hours with the big checker set and the oversized cards. As a teacher, I saw this set in a classroom. I thought then what a great idea to have a checker board made of material with jumbo checkers for use in the carpet during indoor recess. It was so easy to clean up and put into the bag without losing any parts. I was happy to find it on Amazon! Nicely made and inexpensive.

Pretty Cool, my only complaint is the quality of the checker mat. Reminds me of a cheap kitchen decretive towel, it's a grey cloth with black painted design that is cracking and low quality. The playing cards are Awesome and the checker pieces are nice. It's just the mat that could be a little better but for the price, it's a good buy. The mat is washable but will further lessen the quality of the black. Oh and three Tic-Tack-Toe grids are printed/painted on the back of the mat in black (that was not in the pictures or the description).

I bought this for a picnic so that young people would enjoy playing. Both the checkers and the jumbo cards were a HUGE hit and the bag it came in was wonderful. The kids LOVED the size of the cards and spent hours playing. One even asked if she could take them home with her. The only small disappointment I had was the material for the checker/tic tac toe mat. The description said it was a rug, but it's actually a square towel with checker markings. That was my only disappointment. I only hope the markings don't wash off in the wash, Other than that I love it!
