First Line FRC65 Radiator Cap

The rating was not correct. The coolant system of my Simitar Gtc was boiling which demonstrated that the bar rating was in correct and rather release the pressure it did not. Water will boil at 100c sea level so to prevent the coolant from boiling the radiator cap is bar calibrated to keep the coolant under pressure. A wrongly calibrated bar if to high will cause the water to boil in excess 100c with no where for the pressure to be relieved causing engine damage and to low the coolant will boil away again resulting in engine damage. An expensive outcome due to poor regulation by vendor. SO BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU BUY

Perfect, stopped my Capri from overheating.
