Work just great. Easy to install. Great price too!
NIGHT VISION ISSUE RESOLVED: See my note (*) at bottom of this review for comment on night light IR somehow getting disabled, and how to re-enable it.Review starts here: Although it doesn't say anywhere that these are ONVIF compliant, they certainly are. My Xeoma installation found them right away when just giving the camera's IP address.Very impressed with the quality of these, and love that you don't have to take the camera itself apart to mount it. It's self contained in a ball with cord attached, and the two-part mounting base simply screws to the wall, ceiling, or whatever. Loosening one screw allows to you to swivel to any position you like. A twist-off trim ring is all that needs to be removed for access to the mounting screws. Firmware is full-featured, and shares a similar interface with many other cameras I've used.Operation with standard 48V POE is a no-brainer.Will be buying more of these. BTW I've reduced the main stream resolution on some of these (in the menus) to 3MP to save disk space, and they are plenty sharp for my use, even with a wide-angle room view. Your mileage of course will vary, so just sayin'.*NOTE: A couple of these (but nowhere near all) cameras stopped working in IR mode. Turns out a camera setting somehow got changed, perhaps by the software I am using (Xeoma). The Camera/Image/Light Mode setting for night light got changed to Pure White Light (which this camera does NOT have) from either Pure Infrared Light (or Smart Dual Light, which is the same as Pure Infrared Light, because the camera doesn't do Pure White). Changing the setting back to Pure Infrared and saving the setting fixed the problem. Very odd. I am contacting the software company to see if their software had anything to do with it, but the cameras in question are now working fine.I'll also add here that by now (May 2024) I've bought several dozen of these cameras and not had an issue with any of them, except for the IR problem mentioned above. Per the manufacturer, I've applied a recent software update to the cameras (extremely simple to do, and it leave all previous settings in-place), which has only helped. BTW a camera's configuration can be downloaded as an XML file and used to configure additional cameras, a huge plus. Note that when uploading the configuration file, the camera now uses the password that's in the file. And if you copied the file from another camera, where you changed, for example, the default on-screen display, you might want to update that for the new camera after uploading the configuration.Update Sept. 2024: Not a single one of these has failed on me, and I've installed over 50 of them.

Excellent Image Quality and Easy Setup
This camera works great for home security. Live view has minimal lag, and the image is bright and clear both day and night. The picture quality is sharp with a wide field of view. Motion detection and audio features are reliable. The build feels sturdy and weatherproof, making it ideal for outdoor use. Overall, a solid choice for the price highly recommended.

Frozen video and very little tech support (email only)!
Worked while on my desk and during setup. Installed camera at location. Attempted to access camera and could connect to camera fine but video was frozen, no matter what I did. Removed camera and installed a different camera and it worked perfectly. Reinstalled this one and tried again. Video frozen. Contacted manufacturer customer support. Not able to help get it working. Suggested returning for a replacement.Appears to be almost exactly like other "inexpensive" POE IP cameras on Amazon. I bought two POE IP camera at the same time, different manufacturers. The look and feel of the user interface is almost identical on both of them. The buttons on the main page are in slightly different locations but the sub menus are exactly the same. The other camera I purchased at the same time was even less expensive than this one and it has items available in the menus that this camera doesn't. Some of them are significant and very nice to have. I won't go into a lot of detail here but I can't recommend this camera at all.One thing I did notice when it was working on my desk during setup was it was dropping frame after frame. I changed the resolution to 720P and dropped the frame rate to 10 fps and it STILL dropped frames. This was on a 1 foot network jumper going into a POE switch connected to my router with less than a foot of cat5.It seemed to work better at 15 fps and 1080P resolution. Once I installed it in it's location (connected by about 25ft of cat5 to the same switch) it would boot up fine. Once the video finally started coming through, it was frozen (time stamp not advancing). After a reboot still no video. Brought back inside and put back on the same cable I used for the initial configuration, through the switch. Booted up and video still frozen. It seems to take an initial image and then freezes. I contacted the manufacturer and had to get tech support through email. Not able to help me. Returned camera for a refund.

Excellent Products and Good company
I cannot say enough about this company. Their products are very reliable, in fact I have installed over 500 of their cameras, and in the course of several years, I have probably only had TWO fail. Support is very good - responsive, and if there IS a failure within the warranty period, they have replaced them very quickly. The cameras are excellent quality, with the operating system built on top of a Unix kernel - what that means is they run on top of a very stable, robust operating system. Clear images, good options in the camera firmware, and they work perfectly with any network video recorder (like BlueIris) or other HIK compatible systems.

Turns off for days. Then back on. Low quality.
I installed this on my existing Lorex NVR system. It plugs and plays minus some of the features that the original Lorex camera had. I almost returned but decided to keep and install in a non-critical area. The sound quality is poor compared to the Lorex. And sometimes lags behind in frame rate. Camera controls are very limited. Image quality is low.Camera started turning off for days. Just randomly stops working and then comes back on randomly. It is a cheap camera that gives cheap results. To be fair, it works most of the time. If you’re good with that, buy it. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and spend the few extra dollars to buy a better camera.
