Genuine Japanese Professional Stainless Steel Bonsai Tree Soil Sieve Set. with 3 Interchangeable Meshes

Bought this to sieve sand, I understand that my intended use was not bonsai related, I bought as the smallest sieve was described as 2mm, the mesh is not uniform, it's a poor weave, the wires in the mesh move meaning the holes increase/decrease in size which means the sieving in not accurate. The mesh pulled from the rim within 5 minutes. Honestly wish I had not bothered with this. I have since bought stainless steel mesh from an auction site and made my own edges, far far far more superior. Again my use wasn't for bonsai but the poor results forced me to write this review.

Excellent soil sieve. I recently moved to a house with a lot of gravel in the garden and I hate gravel, so I am digging it all up. I cannot afford to waste the soil so I am sieving it first in a large gauge sieve, and then in a fine gauge sieve. The finest gauge mesh in this sieve is very good. I just wish it was a bit larger in diameter. The sieve remains firmly in the surround and I have had no problems with it falling out.

Excellent and very versatile useful implement. Great for sifting soil and making your own potting compost.

Excellent set for when you need a finer tilth to your soil. Easy to pop out the different grade mesh, it is well made and of a sturdy enough construction that I expect to get many years of use out of it.Recommend this set to anyone needing to sieve soil for potting on, or general stone/gravel removal.

Seems good quality after being used a few times, but making sure you dry as not to rust after use.

This was exactly what I wanted with the three sizes of sieve. Not required for bonsai but other sieving requirements around the home and garden.

Very good as it has three different grade size holes, so is suitable for different jobs in the garden. I wanted it for the finer grade as I needed the earn as fine as I could get it for covering seeds.
