Quality monitor, well worth the money
After having this monitor for 3 days I can say it's %100 worth it! Quick delivery, no dead pixels, came with a dual link dvi cable to get me on that 144hz goodness right away, and after some calibration and research I got the colours perfect! I love the feature on the monitor that reduces the amount of blue light emitted by the screen, really helps with eye strain over long periods of time working on graphics or gaming. The 144hz is excellent for gaming, you notice the difference immediately, even on your desktop and the way the mouse cursor moves is just so smooth! Please bare in mind that before purchasing, you must have a pc that can run games at over 144fps if you want to get the most out of this monitor. This is perfect for csgo, absolutely love it!

Great monitor, just make sure you adjust the colour settings.
Perfect monitor, but you have to adjust the colour settings it looks terrible as it comes. Doesn't have Display Port I should've checked prior to buying a £10 DP cable. Also works perfectly with a VESA mount 100x100. 144hz is amazing, really a big difference from 60hz, worth every penny.

Incredible monitor for the price. I have always found BenQ (Now Zowie) monitors to be of exceptional quality
Incredible monitor for the price. I have always found BenQ (Now Zowie) monitors to be of exceptional quality and push for a higher standard when it comes to gaming and general use. I have found the XL series to be highly revered and though it very rarely dips below the price of other similar monitors with the same specifications, it is a very small premium to pay for the quality you receive.Side note - After many years of competitive fps gaming, despite the lack of software/led's and various other fancy bits, Zowie mice are also by far the best gaming mice (in my opinion).

Good monitor that works as advertised, though software setup is required.
As a person who plays videogames on a regular basis, I purchased this for the 144Hz refresh rate and to supplement my old 60Hz, 1080p iiyama monitor. I am now currentl running my computer as part of a dual monitor setup at the moment.Picture quality was initially poor and the monitor refused to run at a refresh rate higher than 60Hz. The latter problem was fixed with a graphics card driver update allowing me to run at the full 144Hz, though the picture remained desaturated and bleary.Luckily, the on-board display settings are quite extensive. The monitor defaults to a “gaming-mode” out of the box and I recommend setting it to “Standard” as well as setting both “Low Blue Light” and “Black eQualizer” options to 0.I also downloaded a custom colour profile for Windows to improve the colour balance but I’d consider this quite advanced and shouldn’t really have to be done.Overall though, I’m really happy with my purchase! Colours are now really vivid, objects stand out from black backgrounds, motion is fluid with no noticeable ghosting and the backlight can be set to be stunningly bright if you so please. Lost a star for the setup pains but, in my opinion, everything looks great on it.

Slightly annoying as I'd taken the day to work from home ...
Timing/service: 5* - although Amazon said it would be next day delivery, after I ordered it Amazon updated the delivery estimate to be the following day. Slightly annoying as I'd taken the day to work from home however shortly after placing my order I was contacted by the seller with a VAT receipt/invoice and confirmation that it would in fact be delivered the day after. They used DPD to courier it to me and with the DPD app, I was able to track where my package was and what time slot it would be arriving by.The product: 5* - I made the upgrade to 144Hz and I have not been disappointed. Whilst I would say that you do need to mess around with the settings a little bit to get it how you like it (there are plenty of videos on youtube that will help you if you don't want to do it alone), once it's all set up it's a really great monitor. Out of the box to desktop took less than a couple of minutes and I haven't had any issues with picture quality at all.

Awesome for gaming . Ok for everything else. 144hz is amazing .
I took a punt on this and it paid off. This is identical to the Benq version anyone who wondered . Same panel and everything . Just says zowie on the box and the back of the monitor. Absolutely amazing for gaming. Great colours and sharp . 10 out of 10. For everything else I would give it 7 . But you must mess around with the settings . I found a video on you tube for the Benq model and followed that to change the colours. DVI only at 144HZ . Silky smooth . Got mine for 150 on warehouse deals after student discount . Best 150 quid I ever spent . I sold a 1440p 60hz monitor to pay for it and for gaming this is much better.

You'll never use 60hz again!
Astonishing performance. I just upgraded to this from this BenQ GL2450HM LED TN 24 inch Widescreen Multimedia Monitor (1920 x 1080, 2 ms GTG, VGA, DVI-D, HDMI, Speakers) - Glossy Black and I have to say it was the right choice. The movement on everything, from movement in a game to just your cursor moving across the screen. The change is overwhelming. The only thing I will say that is a downgrade is that colours aren't as vibrant but that can be overlooked by playing about with your contrast and saturation settings.Quick Tip: Make sure that you hook this bad boy using the DVI cable provided. Once it's on, remember to change the settings from the default 60hz to 144hz.
