My four year old son loves it. The board is sturdy, well made and durable. The squares are the right size; the number of snakes and ladders is just right. The snakes and ladders pattern is traditional with no distracting theme or pictures to distract. The only possible negative is that there is no box to keep the board, dice etc.

Very good product for the money. Strong base, clear numbers and pictures. The wooden die and playing pieces are good quality.

Sturdy game
Very good snakes and ladders on a wooden board rather than the usual cardboard ones. Should be long lasting and sturdy. The dots on one of the dice is not very clear, but just use the other one. Came quickly and was well packed.

nice toy, shame there's no box.
Bought for my 4yr old. Nice product, good quality. Only problem is that the dabbers and dice just come in a little bag that was sellotaped to the back and there is no box, so I can see the bag getting lost.

The order came very pquickly which was great. The actual game is fine, very colourful, my grandson will love it.......... but, I was out shopping at the weekend and saw a very similar board (and this one was boxed) for £4.95 in Smyths! There is no where with the one I have purchased to store the dice or counters. I will be keeping this because I am too lazy to send back but it is overpriced so would not recommend. Shame because I have purchased from the works before.

Couldn't find a well made snakes and ladders game anywhere on the high street. The modern plastic ones are gimmicky I feel. This is built to last easy to set up and has already provided lots of fun. The old fashioned ones are definitely the best in this case.

No box or dice!
Very disappointed! Arrived in a huge Amazon cardboard box but game itself only had plastic covering which was partially opened so the dice and little coins you move were missing. All I got was a wooden board. Had to return to an Amazon locker and repack myself as the box wouldn't fit locker dimensions.
