I ordered this last August to replace a speedometer in a hot rod. That speedometer at the time was not accurate, and setting it up was a real pain. However, with some help from the manufacturer, I got it working, so I didn't install this new speedometer.Let me say the speedometer looks good and has some features I desired. And I have had good luck installing GPS speedometers in the past. However, the first problem I ran into was the brown wire, which was labeled "adjust." I contacted the manufacturer for where it was supposed to be connected. "To the ground," was their reply. Nope. The hint actually came from my old speedometer, which had a button connected to the ground and was used to switch to the tripmeter, reset the tripmeter, and put the speedometer in setup mode. When the brown wire was connected to the ground, the pointer went to 80 mph and stayed there. However, when I just briefly touched it to the ground, the backlight color changed. So I put a momentary switch in that wire, connected it to the ground, and figured I was set up.Nope, again. I backed out of my metal-roofed garage and waited for the speedometer to acquire satellites. It would acquire one, and then a few seconds later, black out, reset, and start all over again.After 3 days of messing with this unit, I have concluded it must have some sort of internal short. I have made sure it has a clean connection to the ignition power and a clean ground (actually, 2 grounds). I won't acquire a satellite, and it continually resets. And of course, it's been long enough since I bought it that it is out of warranty. The manufacturer has not offered a replacement or anything, so I guess I'm done with it.Pity. As I said, it had a lot going for it...if it worked.

Trip meter reset is a button on the back of the unit. There is no way to reset it without removing the speedo from the dash.

In the description it says the odometer is adjustable from 0-99999. If it is I cannot figure out how to do it any instructions doesn't say.
