Biona Organic Cranberry Pure Pressed Juice

In my estimation the best product for UTI's or UTI prevention after antibiotics because no sugar (which feeds UTI's) or other irritating ingredients included. So the cranberries can get to work coating the bladder and preventing infection from sticking. The taste is sharp, which I like, the health benefits are tastable!!

A little more expensive than normal cranberry juice but that’s because it’s better! I prefer using these in cocktails and juices because you only need a little to get a lovely tart kick so it lasts so much longer. Pure cranberry juice is also great for the body and has soo many benefits, we bought it for someone who had just had a serious health scare and needed something to add to his water since he needed to replenish his body and this was fantastic because it’s sugar free! Also an antioxidant and great for heart health

Regular cranberry juice drinks are about 27% cranberry juice from concentrate. This Biona juice says it is 100% pure. So it is not that much more expensive in terms of the cranberry content. So if you dilute this Biona at 4 to 1 with water, (which gives you about the right taste IMO), you get the same cranberry content as with most juice products but without the sweetener. And it`s pure organic too. But this juice may not please the sweet toothed.

This is my second purchase and I am still struggling with a urine infection. I am on my second lot of antibiotics too. The only reason I am still drinking this is because it is the pure cranberry juice without any sugars unlike what you buy from the shop. The taste is fine but i dilute it with warm water to take away the tangy taste. I don't want to give a review to suggest that it's effective in helping to treat my urine infection because I honestly can't tell but I think its better to drink the real stuff rather than buy those with added sugar. Delivery was excellent and the product is good. The only reason for 3 star is that I don't know if it's working at all as I said its 2nd week of urine infection antibiotics as well as cranberry juice.

This juice is by FAR the best on the market if you are looking to cure a UTI. It just WORKS. Admittedly it's tart as hell , kind of expensive and pretty much impossible to drink neat, but if you dilute it 1:1 with water - it's awesome! I had a really bad UTI (blood, difficulty urinating, fever, etc. Think I was heading in the direction of a kidney infection tbh...). Anyway, this stuff SAVED me. I ordered several bottles and drank roughly a bottle or two of this stuff per day (diluted with water) and it all cleared up. I drank it for about 5 days and I'm continuing to drink it even now a month later after my infection cleared - its more of a preemptive measure to be honest because UTIs have a nasty tendency to randomly come back. Anyway, yes, it's expensive but worth EVERY PENNY.

Got my first UTI (blood, pain, urgency). Everyone told me to take antibiotics. When I finally got through to the GP, he told me I could end up with kidney problems if I don’t take the medication.As I couldn’t get to the pharmacy until 2 days I quickly got this juice, Ocean Spray cranberry drink and cranberry tablets (if you look at my other reviews you see which ones). Started to take this the next day. Took about 5-6 tablets a day, plus a carton of juice (which is mostly sugar, but at this point I didn’t care) and a glass of the Biona juice.In 3 days I had no symptoms!The juice is tart and strong, but if you mix it with shop bought cranberry drink then it is very drinkable.When reading medical papers online, they all emphasise that research is inconclusive on cranberry and UTIs and don’t really promote it as a cure. More like complimentary to antibiotics.Reading other women’s experiences, I don’t think my case was a miracle! I am so happy I didn’t have to take antibiotics which would have ruined my gut microbiome again and maybe made the UTI chronic.

Perhaps has similar a flavor profile as Lakewood Organic Cranberry juice (not from concentrate), albeit more costly. The Biona Organic Cranberry juice is definitely richer and has more complexity, e.g., more astringency and tart 'punch', than Knudsen Organic Cranberry juice (from concentrate). Unfortunately the country of origin is missing from the label; all it specifies is 'non-EU product', which suggests it is from the U.S. In that case, it is surely not worth the premium price over domestically available U.S.-grown organic cranberry juice (either Lakewood or Knudsen brands).
