So far, so impressed
The product description states "Works as Genuine Parts" and that's exactly what it does.It perfectly fits and powers my cordless Makita drill, mini vacuum, circular saw and jig saw.Since purchasing the item last week it's been used, in conjunction with an original Makita battery, to construct a five tier, mild steel framed rolling storage shelf unit for my attic workshop. It's performed, as far as I can see, in exactly the same way as the original Makita battery. That includes an approximate charging time of 20 minutes in my Makita DC18RC charger.Faultless so far.

Company is willing
Had to send it back after a few charges. You get what you pay for...... However, the company sorted sending me a new on very quickly. This one is working fine. End product is, if they are willing to sort any problems (free of charge), the batteries are worth the money. They don't last as long as Makitas own brand, but you would expect that for nearly a third of the price. I would buy three of these instead of one Makita..... Makes perfect sense, (as long as you buy through Amazon. Buying through Amazon is a no brainier.

cheap replicas not worth money
i purchased 3 of these, immediately one of them did not charge, i messaged the seller twice and have had no reply at all.the other two charge fine but do no last nearly as long as the real deal, especially in the more powerful tools such as angle grinder, i have had other replica batteries that have been okay, it seems they are just very hit and miss and its alot to do with luck if your batteries are going to be any good

Good battery, works perfectly, slightly tight fit.
This battery works really well, can't tell the difference in when it comes to time between charges. The only very minor issue is that it can be a little bit tighter than the original to release from the drills I have. Can't complain really though at half the price, it's pretty much spot on.

Works just as well as a real Makita and works perfectly with all Makita products that use batteries from 1.5 ah to 5 ah

Not impressed with longevity
The battery seemed ok and worked fine for a short while but after a few weeks just died! I used the battery nearly every day but I have makita original batteries that have lasted 2 years! The company did refund though.

does the job.
better value,than the makita.Have used different types of these replicas,have not had a prob with any of them.had 2 makita and 2 of these before,at same time.the 2 makita are broken.
