Ceramic Towel Bar Set - Clip-On Style

I had looked at other ceramic towel bars, all of which were more expensive. This was the best made: others had bars that wiggled inside the holes and were larger and heavier. This was compact and the bar mountings in the sides were fixed. Also, the bar itself was white, which I prefer to a clear bar. Excellent quality and design.

This was a purchase to replace a cermaic towel bar that was mounted with grout. The hardware to install this makes a good replacement and covers the area from the old towel bar. Great find on Amazon! No big box home improvement store sell products like this.

This product was exactly want I wanted in my bathroom for my towels.

My walls are white, the plastic bar that comes with it is white, but the ceramic brackets are what I consider "winter white" & don't really match. Also the metal hangers need bent to secure the brackets closely to the wall or else they wobble.

It was just as advertised and pictured.

So happy to find ceramic fixtures for the bathroom - this one works with the metal clip and screws, doesn't have to be tiled in. I am repainting the bathroom in a 1961 duplex - it had ceramic to start with. I bought cheapo metal ones then realized they may corrode in this damp Pacific NW environment so I tried to find ceramic - also matching the drawer knobs. Very little in the way of ceramic/porcelain bathroom fixtures out there these days. I was super grateful to find these.I'm giving 5 stars because they worked pretty much perfectly. It might be difficult to put the plastic bar in securely due to the clay - there's a circle in the center where the square-ended bar goes and it may not fit perfectly. Mine were pretty close. But the original 1961 fixture just had the square notch for the bar - I'm curious why they have the hole at all - maybe to deal with the irregularities of the square notch. I'm happy though! And I found a white ceramic towel ring on Etsy to match. Thrilled! (my landlady is gonna love me!)

I ordered this ceramic set hoping it would be a reasonable substitute for an existing set (from a different manufacturer). I had carelessly broken my original set when it slipped off of the wall. Unfortunately the quality of this new set is far inferior to what I originally had. The supplied towel bar fits well into one end. However, the other ceramic bracket end was molded so poorly that the interior corners were beveled. As a result, the bar would not fit at all into this one end. Additionally, it is meant to clip onto metal fasteners which are secured to the wall. However the back of the ceramic bracket fit much to loosely so it was not flush with the wall. It ended up looking very sloppy and I was concerned that it would inadvertantly come off the metal fastener if someone pulled a towel off of the bar too quickly. As one reviewer already had stated, the brackets seem not to be uniformly made. I definitely would not purchase this again as it is basically a coin toss as to whether you get a corretly molded product.
