Beacon Shoes Women's Rainy

I think these shoes will be useful when it is cooler and rainy. They are a bit big for size so thick socks are a requirement unless you ordered down a half size.

These shoes are actually black and gray and not black and white. They have a fabric interior which is nice so they will help keep my feet from sweating. I bought these to pack in my carry on for a trip to London. They don't seem heavy so they won't add weight to my carry on bag. I haven't actually worn them for any length of time so I don't know how comfortable they will be but they seem comfortable walking around the house. I am very pleased so far.

The heel took me a little time to get used to but after a day I didn't even notice.I wear either a 10WW, 10.5W or an 11.These in the 11 were perfect - I can wear it with a trouser sock and they do not flip off my feet and I have enough room in cooler weather to wear with a regular sock. Very comfortable and a nice appearance for work too.

I also purchased the "Beacon Thunder Slip-on" at the same time that I purchased these duck shoes. They do NOT fit the same way. They feel quite tight, unlike the other Beacon shoes I purchased. They are cute with jeans, however. And after wearing them a few times, they have loosened up a bit. Maybe there's a break-in period for them? ...the Thunder Slip-On did not have a break in BTW. Overall decent shoe. However, don't know that I would purchase again.

I I received this as a Christmas gift from my daughter and I'm glad I did. They didn't have a size 9 so I had her order a 9 and a half. They're a little big but with heavy socks they fit just fine. I wanted them for winter wear when dealing with slush. They keep my feet warm and look nice. One of my best Christmas gifts.

I bought these shoes due to Houston rainy days. At first try on they seemed a bit large, but I continued to wear them around the house and they didn't slip at all or wear blisters on my feet. I really like them!

This shoe is going to be perfect on the days you don't want to wear real boots after a snow storm, when the sidewalks are slushy. The fit is true to size and the workmanship is excellent.

These shoes seem to run a little large. And, even though they were large, I got a sore on both feet on top of my 2nd toe. Now that the sores have healed, the shoes seem ok. They look dressier than my old duck shoes and they do the job when I have to walk the dog in the rain.
