They smell really nice - a kind of mild honey smell mixed in with something a bit like sweet kitchen spices, no artificial chemically smell as many wipes have. They are not too wet and don't leave your skin soaked in residue but they do leave it feeling clean and fresh. Removed my make up well and didn't seem to have a problem with my waterproof mascara! They feel pretty dry, I don't think they would do a good job at removing much dirt or makeup. Since they are fragrance free they actually have a horrible harsh chemical-like smell. It's not pleasant. Lastly, every wipe has small brown specks throughout. At first I was worried that it was bugs but reviews on the burts bees website informed me that this is because the sheets are made from recycled cotton garments. It's great that they are made sustainably but it makes the product look unappealing and not something I would like to put on my face. Leaving 2 stars because they are very strong.
