Awesome!
I've had one or another model of these ear canal headphones for years and I invariably love them. The default size buds fit my ears perfectly, I love the sound and the noise reduction. These were the first I've tried with an in-built microphone. I've been doing a lot of work on Skype and Facetime and these have helped me such a lot. A fantasticly good buy.

good pric/quality-ratio
Shipping was fast and easily done by dhl, happy with the quality of the product. In comparison to my old mm 30 i the soundquality is not as good as i'm used to... Nevertheless price/quality matches this product just fine

good product!!
love sennheiser ear phones, they are such a great brand & fab products!my only complaint was, & perhaps it was my fault for not reading the description through, but the pair i received did not have a mic, so was very disappointed for the price I paid so can only use them for when i'm listening to music and when my phone rings, I have to hold the phone to speak into the Phone mic

OK so far, but not great
Sound is OK so far but not quite as impressed as I remember I was with the CX-300. Could be that my tastes for sound have just changed in the intervening years.I agree with other reviewers on sound being very clear for high pitch but a bit lacking in bass, although it's not bad enough to be annoying. After a short adaptation period I think I like their sound.Materials used look OK: nice velvety rubber cable, earpieces have elements that seem to be milled aluminum (inherently expensive manufacturing method).Pros:- I like how flatly they can fit in my ear when worn cable-down- Sound is OK.- Great high-pitch clarity- Controls are great on iPhone (Be careful to buy the i version for Apple products and g for Androids).- Angled plug.Cons:- Somewhat lacking bass- The logos on the earpieces rubbed off in less than two weeks without being exposed to bad weather- Not well suited to over-the-ear wearing. The controls and mic unit is right behind the ear. Earbuds are shaped to point downward.- The Sennheiser's authenticity verification site isn't working. Although I doubt the unit I received could be fake (has hologram(s) and S/N and materials look good) it's still alarming to go through the "simple" 5 step process and get a "authenticity could not be verified" message. (see update below)- Doesn't come with a shirt clip. Re-using one from a previous pair of headphones reduces cable stress and cable noise.====Update Nov 2016: I received an authenticity confirmation via email a week later, gmail sorted that into Spam so I only found it today.

Good headphones, until the break... again. Very poorly made.
I had a pair of these and loved them. I found them comfortable and the remote control was a great feature. After 6 months the right headphone with the remote on, just stopped working. I figured I had abused it carrying it around whilst commuting. As I had liked them so much I bought another pair. It's now 3.5 months later, and the exact same thing has happened.I no longer commute as I started working from home. They sit on my desk and rarely get moved, so it's nothing to do with abuse. These are just not very well made.If you are torn between two models, get the other one.

I have previously had the older version of these headphones and loved them because they had good sound quality for the price and I could use it to control volume and skip tracks on my iphone. This new model has had a bit of an upgrade to its look which I like, and the sound quality is just as good, so I can't complain. Those looking for headphones with a lot of bass may want to consider something else.

My last pair of Sennheiser lasted a good 4-5 years and I wanted another decent pair
My last pair of Sennheiser lasted a good 4-5 years and I wanted another decent pair? I don't know if it is just this pair but I think the quality has gone down slightly. They are good for everyday commuting use but I expected a bit more. I didn't realise when I bought that they are not compatible with the iPhone 6, only the 5 and 5s. I don't know why. Anyway, another complaint Sennheiser used to have great packaging and you had a tiny leather carrying pouch for the earphones and extra ear buds. That is no longer included; instead you get a tiny plastic bag that is just cheap. Paying £50 for ear phones I think nice packing a the leather pouch was a nice touch.I'd probably try another brand the next time I'm in the market.

Good sound, but seriously flawed design!
Another set bites the dust. Sennheiser really do make comfortable good sounding earbuds, but they just do not last! This must be the 10th time one of their products has failed within a year. This time it is 8 months with exactly the same problem, cable fraying at the join this time with the earbud although I have had it at the plug end too. You'd think a 'quality' firm would get this right, but it seems not. They only get lightweight use too and I am careful (no lead wrapping or pulling on the cables - time for a change.
