Great product. Easy to set up, works brilliantly all round the house. The app is straightforward and simple to use for anyone.

With a splitter and 2 bulbs now my room brights up like a full midday sunlight. I haven’t tried the smart technology yet because it needs a Ethernet port, the only downside it feels for me. I wish it would use Bluetooth or WiFi for connection the from the Hub to the my (currently only) WiFi tether from my phone.

The Philips Hue system works flawlessly, and in two months we have never had any problems.We felt that we didn’t need the RGB colour changing bulbs and are delighted with the versatility of the white ambience bulbs.

A great way to automate your home lighting in an inexpensive way.These lights have 3 colours that you can set between a gradient scale, between the colours of blue, white to orange. I find it is nicer to have a warm colour in living spaces, and whiter colours in the bathroom and concentrating spaces.The lights perform very well when dimming, and can get very bright also.My only gripe is that the accessory switch is battery operated, and not rechargable by USB. So instead of recharging when necessary, I now have to buy batteries when the switch runs out of juice. For a premium product, I'd have expected the switch to be rechargable by default.

I believe this is the essential kit to start building your smart home. I mean, it's the lights! Having them be smart not only works from a vanity point of view but is also very helpful for those moments when you want a really dimmed bed light or just wanna turn it on and off and your hands are occupied. These are much better than the regular whites and you get 3 bulbs, the bridge and the dimmer which is a lot of bang for your buck. Setting it up is fool-proof so go ahead and buy them. You won't regret it. Are they pricey? Yeah, but I think it's the best alternative overall ins smart lighting. The IKEA alternative is nowhere close to this quality and it's not much cheaper. Go safe. Buy this kit and enjoy!

It is good to have such startup package from Philips before extending uour smart home leaders lights system. In practice, after product installation, all family using an old switches to turn on/off lights in the rooms. So, I’m not able to use any philips features, if you are going to use philips hue, better to replace regular wall switches with their analog with Zigbee and hue hub support. Offered in the bundle, dimmer-switch you can considdr only as a temporary solution. No oyhers ftom my family are not going to use ths dimmer-switch. There are several options available, how to mont this switch on top of existing in wall electrical switch, but all of them not really substtute separate in wall zigbee switch. Using iwall switches with zigbee support. When you are selecting such switch from third party suppliers, please check if it is compatible with philips hue hub or at leaset Amazon Echo Plus. Fom my current experience, it is cheaper to use ziggbe wall switches instead smart bulbs. Use smart bulbs only for decoration purposes, for the rest use smart wall switches. Otherwise new lights will pull out huge ammount of money from you.

Best smart lighting kit available. Easy to set up. Easy to navigate app with tons of features. Support for 3rd party apps can be found within the app. Kit can be expanded to include all Hue lighting accesories. Upto 50 lights can be added.

Excelente producto para comenzar a tener la casa conectada y automatizada... con iOS es muy fácil de hacer la configuración. Lo único a tener que la las bombillas son algo gordas, me paso que con La Luz de la sala no entra la bombilla en lámpara de techo ya que la tapa de cristal va muy pegada al techo

La configuración es muy rápida usando el iPhone, las detectecta todas a la primera y se sincronizan correctamente con el HomeKit de Apple usando el código en el interior, el mando puede ser que no venga configurado por defecto y tengas que configurarlo manualmente, por lo demás todo genial, los 806 lúmenes se notan mucho.

J’ai installé le système Hue dans mon appartement dont l’installation électrique est mal faite (pas d’interrupteur unique pour commander les 8 lampes de la pièce à vivre > il faut aller allumer/éteindre chaque lampe l’une après l’autre... c’est fastidieux, j’ai la flemme de faire le tour complet des lampes, au final il y a toujours un côté qui reste dans l’obscurité)Avec Hue, c’est top ! Installation simplissime (un enfant peut le faire). Et en une pression sur la télécommande, tout s’illumine ! Les réglages, routines et scènes sur l’appli sont assez intuitifs à mettre en place. Je profite enfin à 100% d’un éclairage chaleureux dans mon appartement, ce qui justifie totalement l’investissement de base. Je n’ai qu’un regret : ne pas avoir installé ce système plus tôt.

Paso a resolver algunas dudas básicas:- Lo básico es el Bridge (la caja blanca con el botón en el centro). Sin eso ninguna bombilla puede controlarse de forma remota, pero sí funcionarán como bombillas normales.- Si las apagas y las enciendes, se resetean. Aunque en la aplicación las hayas apagado con la app o HomeKit, se encienden de nuevo (útil para la gente de la casa que las usa de la forma tradicional).- Una vez tengas un bridge, puedes añadir varias bombillas (creo que hasta 60) y varios mandos. El bridge se conecta al router.- El mando es un extra. Es útil pero tampoco lo veo imprescindible.- El modelo White Ambiance tiene 3 colores: blanco, azul y amarillo. Puede regularse en intensidad.- Puedes usar el mando para activar o desactivar otros dispositivos de la casa.Yo las utilizo con HomeKit y están controladas por un Apple TV 4. Van perfectas. La sincronización es muy rápida y puedes controlarlas desde tu iPhone aunque no estés en casa. Además, también puedes controlarlas por Internet desde la página oficial de Philips.Tienen una app no oficial para Mac, la oficial para iOS y también para Apple Watch.De momento estoy encantado.

Prodotto Top. Sarà che è il secondo kit che compro, questa volta per regalo, ma lo trovo fantastico. Facile l'installazione, facile il controllo e la flessibilità. Riscontro un unico difetto: non esitstono lampadine singole da interni che superino la luminosità di 800 lm circa. Per cui è perfetto come illuminazione secondaria per luci ambient, non adatto per illuminazione principale se non con un "abuso" di lampadine. Possibilità di aggiungere un' infinità di altri prodotti della linea hue e non purchè seguano lo standard zigbee.Un'info per chi si avvicina per la prima volta allo starter kit. Ci sono 3 modelli che si distinguono solo per le lampade incluse:kit white --> lampade dimmerabilikit white ambiance --> lampade dimmerabili e con variazione di temperatura del bianco (da bianco freddo a caldo)kit white and color ambiance --> dimmerabili, variazione del bianco e rgb (copertura di 16 milioni di colori).Il kit di partenza non limita il tipo di lampadina aggiunta in un momento successivo.
