Good pencils .Lay plenty of colour down if you're adding water.

I had a a flip set of Metallic pencils but decided to buy this 12 tin set to my growing collection of Derwent pencils. I only adult colour but I do like to buy good quality pencils and I again am not disappointed with this set. Lovely little set with the added touch that they are water soluble. Very pleased with these nice range of colours which are not over metallic which I prefer. Delivery as usual perfect well packaged from Amazon.

I actually love them, but I give only for stars for 2 reasons:1. They need more colours ! And as far as I know the set of 12 is the max range for this kind of pencils from derwent.2. They are not THAT metallic... they shine a bit, but I think that aspect could be a bit improved. ]Other than these, they are great. Blending easily among them and with other pencils, nice feeling when using them and perfect softness of the lead !

Absolutely love these.I read not so great reviews but being Derwent I gave it a try as I had had bought Derwent a few weeks ago and totally loved but needed more colours and was looking for metallic ones.I really love them, they are great and have lovely colours.

Another quality product from this long established BRITISH manufacturer. A great section of metallic colours, presented in a tin exactly as shown. These pencils draw and colour with a real metallic sheen and blend well. I have used alongside derwent colour soft and inktense ranges to great results

If you want the best you have to pay for them, sorry to say this, yes you can manage with cheaper pencil's but you'll notice a hell of. Difference when you move to a quality pencil

Beautiful metallics when dry, it looses metallic sheen when wet. Well, they do for me, yes I did use various watercolour papers. I do like how they look dry though, hence the 4 stars. Still looking for metallic watercolour pencil. Every online shop that sells them individually online is always out of stock when I am shopping. I have ordered some paints from Japan through Amazon recently. I will see what they are like. Wish i had talent and knowledge to give a true and full review to help future buyers, but I am learning and who knows, I may have by the time they turn up. Well, a little.

Excellent quality pencils, good performance, high metallic sheen and a good range of colours. Work equally well on light and dark card with the bonus of being able to be used as a watercolour without losing their metallic shine.

Excelente pigmentación y colores vibrantes aún sobre papel negro. Lo único que no me gustó es que no estuviera disponible la gama completa de 20 colores metálicos de Derwent.

Awesome , flow n glide on paper and soft for shading n drawing unlike those local n indian brands which r hard to even move on paper . Costly but worth it if u r going to use for artist work .

Pünktliche Lieferung,Alles kam zum Glück heil an, da die Stifte nicht gepolstert wurden für den Transport.Das Farbergebnis ist leuchtstark und sehr deckend, gewohnt hohe Derwent Qualität eben und das auarellieren der Metallic Stifte funktioniert hervorragend, die Leucht- und Deckkraft bleibt erhalten, wird nur etwas matter nicht mehr so glitzernd, aber der metalleffekt bleibt bestehen. Ich finde es perfekt.
