Ultra Power Mouse Trap Kit

This is the most effective mouse trap compared to all the others. Pros 1. The Lid Is A Cloudy White Color. You can see if something is caught, WITHOUT having to look DIRECTLY at it . Perfect for people who are squeamish. Black and Clear lids force you to look inside the box. 2. Clean to Dispose. The Lid is locked, it is sturdy and not flimsy. Disposing is quick clean and easy. You can just throw away the box in a trash bag. If you want to re-use the box again; it has a key to unlock if you want to throw away the trap and catch without touching the inside of the box. 3. It is a quick kill. The rodent would not make noise during the night and wake people up, and it would not suffer locked inside. 4. The trap is loud. It is easy to know when you caught something. The independent trap inside, makes a huge clap sound, when activated. Cons 1. It is a single catch box. It catches one mouse at a time. It is not a multi-catch box, but you can place many boxes around each affected area. 2. Suitable for small to medium sized rodents. The size of the box is not for large rodents. This can be useful or not depending on your situation.

These mouse traps are highly effective, but I have to admit that the bait that was already supplied by the company, did not lure the mice at all, hence the 4 stars. Luckily we had some peanut butter, which isn't just any peanut butter, but is actually organic peanut butter. Just like us, they have expensive tastes. Two mice have been caught in the trap, and each kill was clean. I will say that these traps are very sensitive, so please be careful. It took 2 days for the first mouse to get caught in this trap, but I believe that was because of the container. The next mouse was caught the very next day after I removed the trap from its container. UPDATE: Another mouse was caught in the trap, but this time it was alive as its hind leg got caught in the trap.

Absolutely brilliant! Put it out for the first time last night and had a mouse this morning! Result! The little blighters are eating my sweet pea seedlings in the greenhouse so I am delighted it works so well I have ordered another to put on the ground. A two pronged attack! Very easy to use and bait all in all a great little product.

We have had an infestation of mice so have tried all sorts of traps. The "live capture" traps did not catch any mouse even though placed in "active" areas. The Ultra Power Trap case impressed me because it can be left in "active" areas all day and night, without concern it could hurt household pets or children. I suppose it WOULD work if a mouse ventured inside, but no mouse has been tempted to enter. The Big cheese Ultra Power Mouse traps (one of which is inside the enclosed case) seem to be effective -- they are easy to set up and the mechanism responds to very light tough. HOWEVER, no mouse has tested it. We have 6 placed in various spots around the house and not a single one has been touched by a mouse. One evening, I saw a mouse walk into my dining room and long the skirting board but it walked right by the trap without even looking at it. I suspect the "fresh bait" is not attractive, should would try it another time with different bait. We did catch two mice with Aspectek mouse traps, baited with walnuts and a bit of peanut butter. I don't know if the success of Aspectek is that it is a "better mouse trap" or if it is the bait that was better. Finally, given we knew there were still mice in the house (droppings and chewed up bin bags gave them away), we used sticky boards and caught two mice within an hour. I know they are frowned upon, so we used them as a last resort, Our impression is that the mice did not suffer on the sticky mat (i.e. the mat itself is not painful, as I know from having a finger stuck on it myself). My husband dispatched it with a single sharp blow which presumably was not more painful than the sharp blow of the mouse trap -- or at least that's what we tell ourselves. For now, we think we are mouse-free and we think we will use normal mouse traps with nuts and peanut butter if we need to rid ourselves of mice again in future. Oh... we also tried a battery/electrical trap (bought in a shop) that supposedly kills mice with a single, quick shock. No mouse has entered the box, so we know only that it is not "attractive" but do not know if it would work to kill a mouse quickly.

This is just a box with the trap inside. I didn’t use it yet as I had to place another order for the bait.
