I recently started using gouache and these brushes are perfect for gouache. They are now my go-to brushes for gouache, especially the flat ones. They are easy to clean and I have not experienced any shedding after using them for a couple of weeks. By the way, the smaller flat brush is perfect for watercolor swatching. The watercolor brushes I have are more absorbent and take way more pigment needed for a small swatch wash.
