This product is is excellent for its purpose. I have been looking for something small like this for years. A mold box for silicone must have several characteristics, it must be leak proof, for flat backed castings it must have a smooth and level base, and be deep enough to take the master copy. This product is perfect for this, as well as being adjustable to take larger sizes and longer masters.I have seen in some reviews complain that it doesn't have a base, the picture shows it already filled with silicone, as for assembly, 5year old to do it. This is not a single use mold box, that is why it doesn't have a base. Run double sided tape around the base of the mold, without any gaps, use a piece of smooth plastic cut larger the the box and position the box over it, this will allow the base to be peeled off with the master still attached for storage, would you wish to make enough mold. I is necessary to glue the master copy being used to the plastic base, or it will just disappear into the silicone when it is poured, it's necessary to prevent the silicone from seeping under the base of the master to be copied. I hope this brief explanation with assist those people having problems.

Got this for making moulding bit hard go put together but once you know how it gets easier the only thing is you must seal the bottom otherwise it will all run out the bottom

Good quality for price paid. Comes in cute little boxes, handy to keep them in and store away with. Arrived on time. Easy to assemble and change. Strong clips. Not had any leakage yet when used to make small boxes. Happy overall.

The media could not be loaded. My first mould bled out all underneath the square frame and base I had set up. I cut out as much as I could and noticed that the first moulding which had failed miserably had left a hard seal between the walls snd base. This was perfect as my mouldd after the first attempt were fantastic as long as I kept the seal around the wall and base. Top Tip; when you cut out your mould don't pull it all out. Cut a square inside your set silicone a couple of millimetres around the edge and tease out your mould. Mine were perfect every time.0

Very good product

Have to be careful that the edges are lined up correctly, had no problems. Only 4 stars as there were small bits of plastic stopping the edges from aligning tightly, I think they are just part of the manufacturing process. I just shaved them off with a craft knife and it was fine. No leaking.

Perfect for what I needed. Stuck mine onto tranfer tape. This produced very minor leakage and had a good seal. No leakage from the joins from the mould itself. Looking forward to more makes.
