Good product
A very soft consistency that took some getting used to and caused a bit of a mess the first few tries. However, after you get the hang of it you will find yourself getting quicker at the application. I'm just hoping when it dries in the areas I applied it to will sand back smoothly like it mentions in the reviews.Overall it was a good size and product for the money. Would definitely buy again if needed.**Update - sanded like a dream. Would highly recommend

Bit like working with chocolate mouse - better on flat walls
We've had the dreader dormer window leak and water causing damage to walls. Like an idiot, I poked the plaster to find out if it was wet and created a few lovely holes in the sloping part of the wall and also the vertical wall (if you have dormer windows you'll recognize the sloping bit as the one you bang your head on regularly).I used this with the metal wall patches which are a bit like plasters for walls—sanded damage and hole. Stuck mesh and metal plaster over the top and then applied the plaster. I'm used to working with bog standard filler. I had to apply this on a sloping wall. It kept dropping off onto the towel I had placed below. I tried all of the green tools that came with a separate kit. In the end, I decided to leave it to dry as I couldn't get a smooth finish. I left it overnight and sanded it back the next day. It's much better than before but still noticeable so I will sand it again before I repaint.On flat walls, it's much easier to use but it feels like I'm working with mousse. I didn't think they'd be so much air in the product. It might just be me that can't apply it. It does seem to sand to a flat surface better than white filler.

Good repair of damaged area
I'm not a plasterer, at best am a middle ground DIY-er but even I found this easy to use. I had to repair a patch that was water damaged (removed water damage area first of course). This dried really well and feels solid where it's been used. It was easy to apply but took me a few goes to get it smooth. I recommend using a small spreader if on a small area/you are a novice. I did buy a large smoothing and applicating tool but as it was in a corner and hard to reach ended up using a small paint scraper. It's adhered well and I'm happy with the result
