VERY small cast iron bird bath (sooooo cute!)
This may be tiny for a bird bath (could fit a sparrow at a push!), but it's REALLY cute! I've actually seen more birds drinking from it (rather than bathing), ranging from tits, my resident robin, blackbirds, wood pigs and a couple of racing pigs that have taken up residence in next doors huge conifers. The best thing about it, being made from cast iron, it's going nowhere! It's so heavy that even the heaviest bird hasn't moved it and with that I believe they are so comfortable using it that they don't mind it being tiny (and I mean TINY!)

Brilliant!
When I first got this I thought it would be useless as it's so small, but it's a good weight and looked nice on the edge of my pond so I put some water in it, not expecting much. But the birds love it! The sparrows, robins & finches all use it every day. I have to keep the water topped up & love watching them from my kitchen window.

Very decorative
I bought this to decorate an old tree stump and hopefully for the birdies to use. It's very small and I've yet to see a bird near it (doubt they'd fit) but it is heavy, well made and as a decoration looks great.

Well made and very pretty so I shall keep it even though it's way ...
I read the reviews before ordering this bird bath and yet I was still surprised at how small it is, it holds 1/4 pint of water. Well made and very pretty so I shall keep it even though it's way too small for putting on the ground/patio, it can go on the patio table.

Feeding dish
I use this as a feeding dish for the birds, just pop nuts & seeds in it. Its a good weight so won't blow away. Looks very pretty. You do need a screwdriver as the bird doesn't come attached & just needs to be screwed on (screw supplied).

Disappointed
I foolishly left my ceramic bird bath out over winter and found that it had cracked, it's going to be a week before a replacement will arrive but this was really cute, matched my garden's "theme" and at the price, even though small, it was going to be with me next day and I'd use it decoratively in another part of the garden once the new bird bath arrived. I own other iron garden pieces similar to this so truly felt it would be a cute addition to the garden.I have attached four photos to illustrate my point. I should state that the last photo in my uploaded pictures is a demonstration to give you the idea of the size of it. My sunglasses were really too big as an example of scale. Yes, they give you the size dimensions but sometimes a photo is quicker. So...The problems:My item arrived next day by 1pm so I was really pleased. My gardener was here so was looking forward to a really tidy garden after a dreary start to spring and having my wrist in a cast for nine weeks. I took it out of the box to find unlike other iron garden objects I've purchased, this one required some very simple assembly. The bird featured comes attached. I couldn't figure this out until I set it on a table to get a good look at it. That's when I discovered that WITH the bird attached, the weight was off balance like a seesaw stuck in one position.I then turned it over to unscrew and remove the iron bird attached. I then noticed what looked like a third leg that had been removed, why I do not know. I turned the bird bath back over and it sat perfectly, without the bird and now with a big hole where the bird WAS to attach. Finally, though my order was placed for two reasons; 1 - to serve as a temporary bird bath until my new one arrives and 2 - to then be a garden ornament. The bird bath holds perhaps a half cup of water so it is definitely not suited to be a watering hole for your garden visitors.I'm unsure what I will do, it's unattractive with a big hole where the bird attachment should be and with the bird attached, it's lopsided and too heavy on the bird side to be a decoration.I would have scored one star but delivery was good and I paid less than £10 for it. But it won't be used and it's a shame because it would have been a nice addition to my garden

It’s nice but it goes rusty wet it gets wet
I like it but only thing I say about it goes rusty when wet. It’s just another ornament for my garden to match my other bits.
