SleepypodAir: Airline Approved Pet Carrier for Dogs and Cats

Very good quality, clever design.Our Maltese (male, 4.4 kg) really enjoys travelling inside it. We have made an extensive research on pet carriers for airlines and finally we bought the sleepypod. All the others either lack the quality or space. If your pet is not too small, then all the other carriers feel like a prison cell for your pet.This carrier is quite large so that your cat/dog can turn around easily or sleep comfortably with the soft bed, which comes with the package. I am aware that the price tag is quite high for a pet carrier but if you're considering long flights (especially intercontinental), then you should really consider this product. Apart from the flights, it is the perfect carrier for long car travels as well.

Very nice carrier made from quality materials. It looks great and the colours are the same as in the photos. It’s durable and the inside lining is very soft. My cat seems very comfortable in it and I think she appreciates the privacy it provides her with. I have used it for flying with my cat and it fit perfectly in the plane cabin. I have also used it in the car and the extra straps for attaching to the seat belt make it very safe for car journeys. I have used several different pet carriers in the past and this has been by far the easiest and most comfortable for me to carry and is now my favourite.

The Sleepypod Air was used to transport a puppy on a flight from the UK to Athens, Greece. Although it is expensive, it is extremely well made and ensured pup's journey was as comfortable as possible. The bag fitted under the seat for take off and landing with no problem. Bag and pup were well under the 8kg weight allowance. Would definitely buy it again as it can be used for safely transporting a small dog.

Although expensive this is a well made, well designed product we used it to transport our cat from Turkey to the UK via holland involving a car journey 2 flights, 2 train journies and a ferry trip. the kennel on the ferry was quite sparse so we left his sleepy pod in it with the lid open and he chose to sleep in it, the base lining is very cosy. nice and easy to carry or slides over the handles of your suitcase. I would certainly be happy to recommend it

I bought this for my Jackapoo puppy (he weighs about 5kg now and still fits in it well)... he kept jumping out of the open booster type seats and in my opinion too little/young for a harness in the car. I did a huge amount of research on safety carriers/harnesses/crates and this came out tops for me, especially when you watch the crash safety tests on YouTube. I like the fact that it is still soft and comfortable for him to be in, without worrying about hitting himself on the sides.Great price (when you compare to other crash-tested and passed alternatives). Peace of mind when you know your pet and passengers are safe in the car!!It fits well in the front seat or back seat... I just make sure to turn the airbag off when he’s in the front.

AMAZING DOG CARRY CASE,.THIS IS MY 2nd..I do this the price is extortionate but it appears to be the only model which perfectly fits the standards of airlines , Beautifully made though and very stylISH!

I got two of these to take my two yorkies from London to NYC and it worked great as a comfy Airline transport. Very easy to place onto your wheelie carry on and through customs too - customs official seem very impressed by this bag for some reason and its so beautiful you will have great pride carrying it.My only real snag is how dark it is on the inside. You just aren't able to immediately check on your babies during transit. And as I bought this to take my dogs in-cabin, it was difficult since you aren't able to bring your dogs out to check on them.SleepingPod need to install a see-through mesh or even better a Zipper at the top of the bags so that your dogs can poke their heads out every now and again for fresh air. One of my dogs was very nervous the entire trip and had a panic attack from feeling kept tightly in the dark. My other Yorkie had no issues but I had such an uncomfortable 8hrs flight just hearing my nervous baby trying to poke his head through the top of the bag.I hope Sleepingpod do something about giving a better option for dogs who feel claustrophobic during transit.

Je trouve ce sac de transport vraiment bien. En plus d'être beau, il est très pratique et confortable pour ma petite chienne. Elle s'y est vite habituée.Le coussin du fond est déhoussable pour pouvoir le laver. La partie zippée s'ouvre en grand, ce qui fait qu'on peut aussi l'utiliser comme couchage à la maison pour le chien (voir photo). En plus, qu'on ouvre qu'une seule partie ou le tout, elle sont maintenues ouvertes grâce au velcro.Il y a une poignée pratique pour le porter à la main ou une bandoulière aussi. Il a aussi deux fermetures éclair sur un côté que l'on peut ouvrir pour passer la tige télescopique d'une valise afin de le mettre dessus.Bien qu'il soit un peu cher, je trouve ce sac bien pensé et de qualité. Ravie de mon achat.

Bin sehr begeistert von der Tasche. Ist zwar sehr teuer, aber es zahlt sich aus. Hatte mehrere Taschen bestellt um die Richte zum Fliegen zu finden. Diese war die Beste. Ich bin mit Sunny nach Spanien mit Eurowings geflogen. Gab kein Problem beim Einchecken - weder beim Hinflug noch beim Rückflug. Hund wird mit der Tasche zusammen abgewogen und darf insgesamt 8kg nicht überschreiten. Der Hund hat sehr viel Platz und die weiche Kunstfelleinlage (die man auch waschen kann) ist auch super (man braucht keine Decke hineinlegen). Sie passt gut unter den Vordersitz im Flugzeug. Hab sie aber der Länge nach hinunter geschoben (Hab einen Sitz mit mehr Beinfreiheit gebucht). Man kann aber auch die Seiten hochklappen und die Tasche dadurch quer unter den Sitz schieben (aber so hat der Hund weniger Platz im Inneren). Die Tasche kann man auch auf dem Koffer befestigen, was auch den Transport erleichtert. Sunny hat die Tasche auch von Anfang an gemocht. Man muss sie auslüften wenn sie kommt, da sie ein bisschen nach Kunststoff riecht (der Geruch verfliegt aber schnell). Sie ist sehr stabil, der Deckel besteht aus einem festen Netz. Von Oben kann man nicht richtig den Hund im Inneren sehen, aber es kommt trotzdem genug Licht hinein. Ich finde es wichtig, dass er genug Platz hat und es bequem ist, was bei der Tasche gegeben ist.
