Looked good but way too much glue
I dont normally leave reviews but feel I should on this one, the item itself looks great at first but under the surface it is absolutely caked in glue which rabbits cannot eat so it renders the item totally useless, and to be quite Frank, DANGEROUS FOR RABBITS OR ANY OTHER SMALL ANIMAL. Very dissapointed, and it also arrived broken.

I wouldn't recommend
I got this yesterday and I wish I had have read the reviews first. My rabbit loved it when she first saw it and went straight in to nibble the edges, after she gnawed away at the top layer, there was glue, everywhere. Not even a little bit either, I had to pick a few clumps off. The stuff is covered in it!After seeing it I came back here to read reviews and other peoples rabbits have gotten ill? Now I'm sat worrying of my rabbit is going to become ill from what she's eaten! Can't return it because she's used it but I'd rather lose the money than risk her using it anymore.

Steer clear
Says ' made from pet safe materials' in the description yet as my bunnies started gnawing on it, they revealed alot of glue. Looks great, but unsafe.

My Guinea Pig Loves these
I put hay around the bottom and my lovely little Pigs love it. They will strip all of the rope off until its just a bare twig and then proceed to gnaw the underlying structure.Like others have commented, I’ve seen the glue but it doesn’t seem to bother my pigs and ive been having these constantly for about 5 years from various stores, and no side effects so far.I love to see the pigs play tug-o-war with the tree’s rope and depending on the pigs age and vitality, these can last me from a around 2 - 4 months.A little expensive but I have demanding pigs and they are worth it.

long lasting and boredom breaking
I love everything about it , both my bunnies spend hours nibbling on it , the product itself will last a long time for the money! bit of a problem is that the willow is glued onto the product , however when it's chewed off the glue stays on the tree and the rabbits chew just the willowy binding, so although at first I was nervous about the danger of that , they have loved it and there seems to be no problem since buying It.

Very sturdy and good quality.
Ok, first issue: just look at the picture. It was sent In a ridiculously large box. Obviously, it had packaging - which was just stuff to stop it bumping around - other than that just a plastic bag around it. This amount of packaging - this size of box - is beyond excessive. This was the only product that came in the box, by the way. Anyway, the product is good quality, sturdy, and attractive. It has a nice base that doubles as a tray that food et cetera could be put in, and pretend carrots hang down at varying angles, and seem very secure. The whole thing is sturdy and well built. Unless your pet was inclined to attack/eat it, I think it would last a long time. It's also totally safe to eat it if your pet did want to, and is made with pet-safe glue. I bought it for my quail, who weren't particularly impressed, but I don't blame it for that as they aren't the target animal. If I stuffed mealworms in the tops of the carrots it provided some nice enrichment pecking them out, but that was very time-consuming for me. In the end, they seemed to prefer the extra space of not having it to having it. Maybe not the right animal to get it for, but it seems like a brilliant toy for the right pet.

Great idea but easily destroyed
My rabbits loved it don't get me wrong. I took a star away from my review because well as soon as one my rabbit saw the strings, she instantly chopped them down and that was that, wasn't interested in the carrot or leafy bit itself. She was determined to chop all the carrot down.I also took another star away as the twine / cords that are wrapped around base and the pole is glued on! That's not safe, I wouldn't want my bunnies eating that! So after they chopped all the carrots down, I pretty much had to take it away from them. We not use it as a treat bowl occasionally and always under supervision.

Rubbish
I've had one of these in the past and so thought I'd get another for my current bunnies. Item arrived damaged, one branch had snapped off. Poor quality you could see the glue which I would be worried about giving to my pet. Sent item back.
