impressed!
Ordered this table with a degree of nervousness given that anything foldup can be a gamble but I'm pleased to say that this is really worth it. I had done a lot of research for the right fold up table for the right price, and I found this one that offered the right features and was very reasonable. When I first opened the box, I noticed that the wood is very nice and looks good. quality of the wood is good, it sort or reminds me of the rubberwood budget type. Thats not an issue, and its all cut and sanded well. There are three safety mechanisms in place to prevent it folding in when someone is on it...much to my relief (In the past I have been known affectionately as the 'breaker of chairs' and 'The Snapper' simply by sitting on them, some of which were really sturdy too but that's another story....).Given my experience with wooden chairs I was pleased when I was able to use the table and sit on it with relative safety and no issues. The cutouts for the screws etc is a little rough but that is underneath the table and doesnt affect the product. Others have mentioned poor machining of the wood and splits but I have not seen anything that i would consider bad in the build of this table. Its important to consider that for the price, its not going to be as refined as the more expensive counterparts, and for my use case of occasional camping, this fits the bill perfectly.Really easy to fold up and use, i would recommend you make the time to find the safety clamps and check they are all engaged before use, as i only realised the plastic sliders after testing it out a few times, and even without those engaged it was fine. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a lightweight nice style camping table and chairs that wont cost the earth.

Anxious it mighht not last
Used it already once for a weekend camping, very practical, but already a couple of screws have fallen... it doesn't look super sturdy, so I'm rrally wondering if this will last another camping trip or two...

Amazing product, not as heavy as I expected it to be, however there was a faulty slat which broke on the first use but everything else was fine nice and sturdy

Great product and Great customer service
Picnic bench was so easy to put up and down again for storage and taking in the back of the car for picnics. Used for 4 grandchildren, not just for food, it was used for drawing and crafting too. When we had a problem, their customer service was fast and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Faulty
The product is was great small compact great for a camping trip we thought. The table has been used for 3 days and has broken nearly taking us with it The legs have bent and gave way meaning we have to look for a new table. Do be aware a 14 Stone man a 5 and 7 year old kid sat at table and this is what happened. Lucky I caught all the way and only hurt back and not the kids hurt.

Nice table seating combo for the price
Wanted a light weight camping table/seating combo for carrying in the motor home when we are out and about. Could have gone for the all-aluminium version of this but wanted something with a bit of character so went with the wooden finished version. Hopefully the wood will mellow with age and turns a nice golden yellow.First thing to note is the wood used is a softwood (pine I suspect) so is very easily marked/dented, but as its for use outside that shouldn’t concern you really, just treat it with a bit of respect and it would last.Construction is pretty good for the price point and the folding mechanisms work fine, albeit a bit stiff the first couple of times they soon loosen up.Stability appears to be good although I would strongly suggest that if there is only two of you then you sit diagonally at the table and not on the same side, just to be on the safe side. And just for the record I’m 12 stone and my wife is 10 stone. The main factor that is going to determine if you can use this table/seat bench safely is your weight and if you can fit in the gap between the table edge and bench edge, its not going to be for the over-weight I’m afraid. The wood does come with a very (and I mean very) light finish of some kind of varnish on the top sides of the slats (nothing underneath) but as I could see us potentially leaving it out in the rain briefly whilst out camping and to give it some longevity, I decided to apply 3 coats of Rustin’s Danish Oil to all the wood slats after I lightly sanded down the slat tops to allow the Danish Oil to penetrate.I have also upgraded the two white “pins” which are used to lock the tables hinges in place whilst in use. I replaced them with stainless steel split pins which are now retained with bathroom plug chain – replacing the nylon cord that was used for the plastic pins previously. Also as can be seen from my photos I found a seller (comfortzone2k6) on a popular auction website that would make me some bespoke seat cushions in a waterproof fabric. I couldn’t find anything that was of a suitable size available “off the shelf” so hence having to have some bespoke ones made. These are held in place with self-adhesive 35mm square Velcro patches that are attached to four corners of the bench tops and glued (using contact adhesive) the corresponding corners of the cushions.Overall, we are very happy with the product and with the “extras” I have added taken it to a whole new level.
