As an owner of a cat, it's my responsibility to keep my cat entertained. There are a large proportion of cat owners who don't, then complain when the cat misbehaves.  Aslan loves these toys, however, he also pretty much destroys them when ever he gets the chance. We have to hang them over the door and hope that whilst we're out he doesn't jump up and pull them down.Luckily for us, this one has 2 spare feathers with it which is great.The string is pretty short, which is the one gripe I have - it would have been nice if it had been half as long again, but the cat still likes it and that's the main thing. The ones with a longer string are better as you can wave them from side to side and the feathers flap around which Aslan really loves.I've added a little video - that should tell you most about what you need to know about this toy.

The owner controlled 'fishing rod with lure' is great for house cats in particular, as chasing and pouncing on the feathers gives them a much needed workout and lets them follow their natural instincts without threatening local wildlife. Cats love to watch and follow the dancing lure and then fling themselves at the feathers, or just to bat the feathers as they zoom past their nose.It's very lightweight, so holding it for long periods won't tire the owner out. Should the feather lure not survive the attention of a cat or kitten's teeth and claws, there are two replacement lures. Being lightweight, it's not particularly robust, so careful storage is needed.
